When possible I stop at the Cookville DG store rather than going to the Naples store. The workers always take their smoke breaks right at the front door, sitting in the outdoor furniture to be sold. NON SMOKERS DONT WANT TO SMELL THAT. Why can't they do this on the side or in the back away from the front door. I have never seen workers at other local DG's smoking at the front door. The merchandise being sold outside in that area (sometimes racks of clothes) will stink. The other day I visited Naples store and a worker and her husband (who is always there when she works) were eating their dinner out there together and smoking. I walked in one evening and the workers were bad mouthing the manager (same worker who was eating with her husband and a blonde lady) and doing this in from of us customers. Another issue, why do they allow only 2 works around the 5 pm hour (when people are stopping in after work) but 1 worker is always on break at this time. Read moreI have seen this store go through ups and downs. In the last couple of years there has been a change in the positive. The store is cleaner than I've ever seen it. The nasty employees, are gone and the management team listens to their customers concerns. The assistant Manager, I think his name is Seth and he is funny and courteous. He helped me understand cash app loads. I hear laughter a lot from the employees.and music is back in the store which is nice to shop to. I hope they keep these people. Naples...
