We've made two purchases from this store. The first was an armoire we bought separately from a bedroom set and the second was the bedroom set that matched the armoire! Both times it was a very pleasant experience. They don't follow you around or pressure you in the least. I like the fact that you can buy the pieces separately and they have a "group" price for things like the bedroom sets. I bought the armoire for my office and when we went back to look at bedroom sets, we were able to buy the set that matched the armoire without having to buy the armoire with the set. I liked the fact that the doors are fitted with tracks that keep you from having more than one drawer open at a time (for tipping reasons or children playing with them). All other drawers lock closed when one is open, as soon as you close the open drawer, you can open another if you want. The pieces are handmade and gorgeous and have spoiled us for buying any other type of furniture but Amish made. They have no computers (other than a small device for taking credit card transactions) and they put everything in writing like in the days before computers. If you pay cash, they give you a discount (because they don't have to pay that 3% credit card transaction fee). This place is well worth the trip if you are looking for hardwood furniture of any kind (they don't carry sofa's and easy chairs, mostly cabinets, tables, bedroom furniture and other small items made of wood). We are not wealthy by any means but found the prices within our budget. By the way, the delivery guys they use are FANTASTIC! They are quick and helpful and do it without any harm to your floors or walls. They got a 5 piece bedroom set into my house, even put the bed frame together and put the headboard and footboard on as well and did it all in 20 minutes.(I wasn't expecting them to put the bed together at all) They put the dressers exactly where I wanted them as well. I ordered a whole bedroom set: bed, 2 nightstands, a chest of drawers, dresser, and a huge custom floor standing mirror. Everything was delivered today, and it’s PERFECT! Nothing compares to Amish made, solid wood products. The quality is absolutely outstanding, the communication is great. In the recent past, I ordered all of my living room furniture from another Amish furniture place in Nappanee… I had multiple issues with the other place, but my work with Homestyle was completely stress free! No calls saying they couldn’t do what they said they could do. No calls saying delivery was delayed, no missing pieces when my furniture was delivered. We ordered a vinyl swing set with delivery and set up. Could not be happier with the entire process. Glenn and family are extremely friendly and helpful. Nick, the delivery and set person knows what he is doing. I really stressed with everything and it went as smooth as silk.
