I'm the type of person who will use a cell phone until its dying breath, so when my 5 year old Android had 2 spiderweb cracks and a flickering screen I sighed heavily and knew it was time. Gregg M was my service person on Sunday and I am soo unbelievably grateful for his incredible knowledge, patience, and customer service skills. Gregg first confirmed that he had a Galaxy phone in stock when I called before heading down and promised he'd be there all day to help me explore that as well as any other options I was interested in. Gregg kindly helped me compare the newer Samsung Galaxy against the previous model, regardless of the fact that they only had the newer one in stock. As someone who has worked in customer service before I greatly admired this because it meant Gregg was willing to prioritize what I wanted. Gregg quickly called other AT&T locations locally to see if I had options beyond what models his location had. Ultimately I decided to purchase the newer model that Gregg's location had in stock and Gregg helped me by deciding what accessories would be right for me to purchase and also by combing through my current AT&T contract to get me a new and updated plan. As we tallied up the bill Gregg helped me SAVE MONEY MONTHLY by adding a 4th line to my family plan and enrolling me in AT&T's teacher discount, autopay, and paperless billing. We bundled all of my purchases together and financed it free of interest or charge so it would be added into my monthly total. The whole thing was incredibly easy and not only did I get a brand new device but my bill is now CHEAPER every month. Gregg kindly helped me set up my new phone, installed a liquid screen protector, and transferred all my data from my old device. He also upgraded my plan to 5G. The whole process was completely pain free and remarkably streamlined. While I was there a handful of other folks came in and Gregg excused himself to greet each and help everyone figure out their best options. I was really impressed by how Gregg had an answer to everyone's questions and solutions to suggest for all their problems and so I made a note in my brain to mention that not only did Gregg help me but he also helped about 6 other AT&T customers who probably won't get surveys. Truly STELLAR customer service! So glad I didn't buy some used phone on Amazon like my friend suggested because I'd not only have had to wait for it and set the whole thing up myself (and hope it worked right) but also because I never would have realized I was overpaying on my bill and still on the 4G network!...
Read moreI wish I could give a negative star for a review to a customer service representative at this location on Aug 22, 2023 I went there very early in the morning, one lady was there. Couldnât remember her name. Sheâs terrible and absolutely unprofessional and beyond a customer service person. She claimed to work in this industry for very long time and her previous company was with Verizon but she couldnât even give me any basic service. My friends and I went in for my friend to port in their number. She said since my friend has a prepaid account, AT&T didnât allow or couldnât port in phone numbers from a land line to an AT&T prepaid account, she can only port into post paid accounts. So she wanted to port in my friend's new phone number to my business account first then call in and transfer my friend's number to the prepaid account later and of course my friend had to pay for her first month of service for my account too. I tried to explain the correct way to do it from my previous experience with another friend with AT&T and Verizon. She was on the phone typing something while Iâm explaining to her and she was really rude to us by saying then go to Verizon or another AT&T Store. I ended up emailing Paul Stovel, who is located in SC and had helped me in the past. In less than 15 minutes, he helped me. Just wanted to share my experience and hope AT&T can train employees to work in a more knowledgeable and...
Read moreMy phone has been one problem after another of late so I finally broke down and went to the AT&T store for some advice having gotten help before from previous employees who've moved on to other locations. Turns out I had basically fried my phone through overheating and the damage was irreparable. What else was there to do but take the plunge and upgrade to the new Samsung Galaxy S9? None of this would have transpired were it not for the excellent service provided by store manager, Nathan Trainor.
My biggest fear was losing any data, documents or photos in the transfer from my phone to the new model because I use my phone for absolutely everything. Days later I couldn't be happier not to have missed a beat with all my info. present and accounted for.
Nathan was personable, knowledgeable, professional and went above and beyond to ensure I had all my docs, even staying an hour after closing in order to do so. This isn't a busy phone store but he's made it a "go to" for excellent service and a true commitment to ensuring customers feel valued and satisfied with the results. I highly recommend this store and...
