Gansett Wraps — Restaurant in Narragansett

The staff were very friendly. There were quite a few people in Gansett wraps on a Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 PM. We ordered a buffalo chicken wrap and a Caesar chicken wrap. It took about 8 to 10 minutes tops to get our sandwiches. They smelled wonderful so we thought we were in for a real treat. Little did we know they do not know how to wrap a wrap. You have to fold the ends inside before you roll the wrap so everything doesn’t fall out of it! After opening the paper surrounding the Buffalo chicken wrap and picking it up to eat, about a gallon of buffalo sauce ran all over my husband slacks. The chicken was over- cooked and tough and stringy, and didn’t taste like anything because the only thing that you could taste was the gallon of buffalo sauce. Same with the chicken Caesar wrap; it too was not wrapped properly so lettuce and chicken were falling out of it all over the place. Great food! Great prices! Everything looked so good, I wanted to order everything they had. Trying to come up with another reason to head to that area when beach season is over. Staff was super friendly. We got the Gyro Falafel which has both the beef and falafel with lettuce, onion, tomato and tzaziki. Added some hummus on the side, also a side of falafel. Delicious!Also, a beef Gyro (they have one with grilled chicken, as well) and a side salad that had tomato, onion, cucumber and dressing and it was yummy. Casual place but comfortable. Got a giant chocolate chunk cookie and some pistachio baklava (walnut also available) for the road. All I can say is YUM...

Accessible, though I didn't check the bathrooms. The place was so clean, organized, and I'm surprised it wasn't jam-packed! They were plenty busy for a weekday lunch and carryout orders were a smoothe process. The prices are great. Staff are helpful and friendly. There are tons of options for all kinds of eaters. It has vegan and vegetarian friendly options.

The dolmades were really good, I'm not sure if they're fresh or canned but they're worth a taste to see for yourself!

The location is great- close enough to the water that it's easy to enjoy an afternoon in the sun, far enough away that one can eat lunch in peace, away from the waterfront traffic...
