Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup — Local services in Narragansett

We had sewage back up coming from our downstairs bathroom, we thought perhaps it was the septic, so, we had it emptied (it was emptied earlier in the year)but no luck still backing up. We called Roto Rooter Monday after the tank was emptied they came the next day. Mean while we had to shower at my job. Adam was the first tech he was so professional and super nice, poor thing started from 2 and left at 6:30pm with the issue unresolved. He tried everything he could and we appreciated that. He recommended that we get our main pipe jet streamed. He said that some one could possibly make it to the house the next day around 1. Again, another day without using the water and limited in flushing so we went to my job to shower. I have 4 teen and a1 year old we needed the issue fixed ASAP. Apparently Roto rooter only has one jet stream? I’m not even sure because they couldn’t come on Wednesday since the tech was out on another job. What I did like was they called me to ensure me they hadn’t forgotten about us and that made me feel good. Another day heading to my job ( we have multiple showers there). Thursday comes Miguel gets here he’s also super professional and kind and determined to resolve our issue. He did it he cleared it up told us what we should do next but for now we are good. Roto rooter and the team that helped resolve our problem was excellent from the phone operator to the technician and the supervisor. There supervisor called to follow up, and gave us a 6 month warranty. I hardly ever get follow up calls so this was surprising in a good way. I would have give them more than 5 stars but my only complaint would be to have had another jet stream available. I had a problem with my sewer pipe backing up into my sink in my basement. I usually do my own fixes when I can, but I knew this was just something that needed professional grade tools. The house was built in the '40s and still has the original cast iron pipes. I suspect there was too much toilet paper put into the pipe and it stopped it up over time getting caught on the rough insides of the pipe. I called Roto-Rooter and they had someone out within an hour. it was later in the evening around 9:30 or 10:00 that he arrived. He was very professional and personable got right down to it, snaked the pipe and fixed everything. The clog was way down. probably about 35 ft into the pipe so I no I would have never been able to fix it. The water is flowing better than it ever has now so I'm sure the pipe probably had an accumulation to build up that was scraped out by the snake. All in all a great great job was done. The price was reasonable in my eyes given that he had to come out late in the evening with little notice. I was kept informed about when he was going to arrive and at no time felt in the dark about anything that happened. I heard the “hiss” of a water leak that was unfortunately coming from within the wall. I shut off the water and called Roto Rooter who sent Apollo within a few hours. He was unable to make the repair without opening the wall. So he called the restoration team, who sent John within 2 hours. He took moisture readings in that area and determined that behind the wall and along the floor were wet and would have to be taken out, dried and replaced. John was awesome- he contacted my insurance company and reported everything to them. I needed an “ok” from a claims adjuster who was to call me. John gave me his number and said to let him know the moment I heard anything so that the work could start and I could have water again. Bill the supervisor called the next morning ready to start work, but I still hadn’t heard from Insurance yet. Finally they called with the ok. I called Bill and he sent a team the next day. Bill walked me through the process and his head guy Kyle kept me informed on the damage/wet they found. Derek the plumber fixed the leaky pipe (and installed a new kitchen faucet I needed).
