I just wanted to share why I have the low rating. The hair dresser was super nice and welcoming. I came in with really damaged hair hoping to cut some of it off and have it grow out and continue the process until all my damaged hair is gone. I explained how I wanted it to my collar bone since that is the shortest I am comfortable with. Offered to show a picture was told I can’t be picky because my hair is dead. She said I would need to do a bob. Explained again I would come back to get it cut again after it grows after my first cut, but I do not want a bob. Continued to cut it to a chin length bob. Explained I needed a serum for my hair to restore my curls and the health of my hair . Walked off $200 later with a haircut I completely hate and can’t even style or put in a bun. I will post a before and after photo. Moral of the story super nice lady but did not listen to what I was comfortable with.

I have an 18 month old son so I don’t always get to pamper myself. Today was an absolute blessing. I was a little hesitant going in as I’ve had long hair for a long time but wanted a change. Had a pixie cut in mind but left with a bob and color! I absolutely love it and glad I didn’t go shorter. Very informative and helpful place to go! I’m always anxious going to get my hair cut with a little social anxiety but this salon was very calming and peaceful to be in….no judgement felt and could be yourself. Thank you again for the pleasant experience!

This is what i got for $600. I wanted to dye my hair blonde( I showed her the first pic) and she said it would be difficult and i told her shes the professional so she could do what she wanted as long as i got the lightest color on my hair. She proceeded to “color correct” and charged me $150 per hour . And now i have black, blonde, brown hair with pinkish ends in the front part .She couldnt even remove the pink from my hair.i am so disappointed that i have to tie my short hair everywhere i go .

New to the area April, 2021 due to a professional job transfer from FL to Boston. Shortly after my arrival, my hair was a mess due to bad color and poor hair extensions falling out. I researched salons one day during lunch and called Connie explaining my situation. She took me in that evening and did an amazing job with color and cut. I was so surprised to see this lovely salon in Nashua where I live. I was also lucky to be the only client in there and Connie gave me the Royal treatment. I cannot say enough about Connie's hair knowledge, the lovely products in her salon, Connie's disposition with an anxious client is amazing. She only takes in one client at a time; such an amazing experience. Over the past six months with Connie, I have had color, hair treatments, highlights, cuts and great lengths extension pieces applied. All of the products I have purchased at Studio 6 are amazing and worth every penny. Connie is my hair doctor. Before you go any where else, at least make an appointment for a consultation, you will never go any where else. She is even known to take her clients in at the last minute for a blow out and amazing...

The last guy who cut my hair did it for 22 years. After we moved away, we still planned trips around when his salon was open. I didn't think it was possible to find someone who cut hair as well as he did. Until I walked into Studio 6 (no recommendation. It was the only place I could find open on a Monday) and met Connie. Her cuts have lots of structure that's not fussy or obvious. In effect, they care for themselves. They look as good six weeks later as they do when you walk out the door. She is also great with men's hair. Don't tell her this, but her prices are well below the quality of her work. It's also fun to spend time in that shop. She has a great sense of humor and a real interest in figuring out what works for her clients. No need to drive to Boston or New York for a great hair cut. UPDATE: 6 YEARS LATER. I forgot to mention color. She improves texture and condition of hair with amonia-free color. Worth looking around to find someone who can do this. Makes...
