I scheduled a full balayage with Dre and I can truly say that I did not receive a full balayage or professional service. My appointment was originally scheduled for 3, then she called and asked if I could be moved to 3:30 because they were a bit busy. I said yes, and got there at 3:20 so we could establish my goals for the appointment beforehand. However, I waited another hour before receiving any service. When I was finally called over, another worker washed and shampooed my hair (not Dre.) After my wash, I was walked over to my station where I sat for another hour. When I was finally attended to, it was with lackluster care and when I explained what I wanted I was met with absolutely no enthusiasm. During the entire process of my dye job, Dre was bouncing between me and 2 other clients. For a cut this would’ve been fine, but when bleach is in my hair and needs to be watched and timed correctly, this was completely unacceptable. The final color on my hair was straight orange when I asked for an ashy brown. The color pattern was completely wrong as well, coming out to be partial chunky highlights instead of a fully balayage. In total the appointment took 6 hours of sitting, being ignored, and ended up being not at all worth the money. I was also mocked for my choice in hair products and sold products which have ruined the texture of my hair. Overall, a terrible experience that I would never recommend. (Edit: After the response I have received I cannot express enough that this was just my experience in December of 2019. I cannot remove emails I have never sent, and my last name was attached to my appointment. Being called a liar and accused of "attacking" this business has only further validated my review. This was a completely inappropriate response from a business professional, and I cannot express enough how I will not be returning and would never recommend this experience to...
Read moreTerrible experience! I used the balayage groupon. Not only did Dre leave numerous demarcation lines between my hairline and thebalayage, she changed my base color and it ended up coming out orange. My ends were also fried from the over-processing. I also thought I was walking into a daycare center because there were numerous children in the salon (did not seem to be a very professional atmosphere). It gets worse - - when I went back for my color correction, my appointment was at 1pm (the salon opens at noon). I was not greeted by anyone when I arrived. There was a client in my chair, which I assumed was being finished as her hair was dry. Not so. The stylist, Nicole, was just beginning. At 1:30 I was still waiting. At 1:45 my stylist walked right past me to get product without acknowledging my presence AT ALL. I got the distinct impression that I was being deliberately ignored. At 2:10 pm, the stylist was still ignoring me and continuing to find things to do to the other client's finished, dry hair. I stood up and loudly said "Nicole, I WAS your 1 o'clock and...
Read moreAwful. They do not know what they're doing nor do they really listen to what you want. I paid over a $100 to get a balayage in the wrong color and my hair feels so damaged now. She definitely over bleached my hair. Save your money, or find a place that's worth that money!
UPDATE AFTER SALON'S REPLY THAT I NEVER EVEN WENT THERE: I have the receipts (see attached)...and this response makes you seem even more petty. First, I was scheduled with "Kate" but ended up getting whoever was free. Second, they didn't listen that I wanted a subtle auburn red balayage and my stylist instead colored my hair a bright neon red. Sam, my stylist was nice enough to try to redo my hair after I came back, after crying in my car, but it's still in awful condition. The color is decent, but my hair is so damaged cause she bleached it too long and there was no technique.
Your response just legitimized my complaint in the first place, so thank you. Please get better so people don't waste their time and...
