It has been almost 5 weeks since I requested repairs to an ice maker of refrigerator that is under warranty (this is actually following repairs made during the summer to the same ice maker of the same refrigerator). So far it has taken 3 weeks to get a technician to come out and look at it and say he needed to order parts that "won't take long" to come in. It has been 2 weeks since then and no one has called to provide an update. They never do. I ALWAYS have to call and ask for the status of parts, a technician, etc. I always wait at least 10 days, but never hear anything. I know the folks are nice people, but I also know that if I were running a business in a small town, keeping the customer informed about their service request would be a high priority. I called about the parts that "won't take long" and explained that that's what I was told. The response was "well I didn't know he told you that." That's the wrong answer. Regardless of what I was told about the parts, I should've received a call once the office knew that it had to be back-ordered and would take longer. That's called customer service. Instead they make you wait, tell you nothing, and just say "sorry" when you call. Seriously? 5 weeks so far to repair something on an appliance that's less than a year old that's already been "repaired" once for the same issue?...

We called them back several times leaving a message with the receptionist who reassured us the repair man would call and come by. He finally called several days later and wanted to stop within the hour. We were already out of town for a function. He was to call again to reschedule.
