Dollar General — Local services in National Park

No matter what day of the week or time of the day this store is always in disarray. Push Carts full of products that should be on shelves and not in the middle of every isle causing tripping or other hazards. Today two employees gossiped to each other in front of customers - discussing who’s doing what wrong and how much money “so and so” wasted because they threw away food that wasn’t meant to be tossed, meanwhile the checkout line is wrapped down the isle with only one of them working one of the two registers. Now it’s one thing if only one register can be open due to whatever reason or excuse. That’s not the issue. The issue is, as an employee, read the room and realize you have annoyed customers seeing you standing around gossiping and doing nothing rather than doing ANYTHING useful while working your shift...

I just left out of the store in national park. The older lady at the cash register was extremely rude when I asked her to get me the only pack of toilet paper on the very top shelf. After waiting ten minutes I got a pack of hangers to knock it down so I could get it ( I shoulda took my business elsewhere) she comes back and tells me I’m not aloud to do that. I said well you wouldn’t help me and were rude, very poor customer service and I will not return to this location. I asked for the manager and she said he was busy and I called the district managers phone number listed on the front door and his mailbox was full probably from more...

That store quite frankly needs a new "boss", the boss Tonya i believe her name is, is very rude from the times I have seen her. Today in the store I watched a worker throw up and have to clean it up herself as her boss told other customers that she will "be there in a second." I went back an hour later and saw that same girl still working. That is very disgusting behavior from the boss to not send an ill girl home. Also very unsanitary that you are keeping a girl working knowing she's ill, risking other coworkers and customers getting sick. I hope that poor girl working got to go home and get her rest.
