Sad to be writing this review (this is my first, but the experience was so bad I had to write something). The REALLY sad thing is that my 85 year old mother orders from Pats MANY times over the last few years and there has NEVER been a mistake in our delivery(until today). First off, my mother ONLY orders a delivery when her children are in town. I can verify that they have NEVER made a mistake in the past (again, until today). My mother ordered food for both of us while I was in the room. The young lady who picked up the phone was impatient and rude. I didn't like the way she was speaking to my mother. After the order was delivered, we noticed there was a mistake in the order. When my mom called to discuss the error, the same young lady was EXTREMELY rude to my mother, put her on hold and then hung up! My mother tried to call several times and they kept hanging up on her. I tried to call twice, and the phone call was either never picked up, or was disconnected. I decided to go down to Pats (in National Park) and discuss the error. My mom did NOT want me to go, saying "it was the first time they made a mistake". I told her I was just going to replace the item and there was no need for anger. When I got to the restaurant, the young lady saw me walk in and IMMEDIATELY went to the back. I spoke to the owner/manager about the mistake. He said he would replace it, but said my mother was rude today and IS ALWAYS RUDE AND COMPLAINING ABOUT HER ORDER. He claimed that she constantly is asking for corrections which they give. I was clearly upset and said that is impossible since all of the orders came when her children were in town and there has NEVER been a mistake. He claimed to have heard the conversation today. When i pressed him on the details, he admitted HE NEVER HEARD THE CONVERSATION (he lied). Worst experience I have ever had with a restaurant. What is worse is that my mother was treated poorly with the young lady, and then had her character lied upon. Thankfully they refunded the money. PLEASE DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS ESTABLISHMENT. Read moreOne Friday night I had an issue with my leg preventing me from driving and having to go to the hospital. When I got home I was hungry and I had to feed my son. However, I could not stand or do anything so I decided to order out. The hospital advise me to put ice on my leg and out of all days my ice machine decided not to work. I ordered online to Pats our dinner and decided to give them a call to ask if their delivery driver can go next door to a local store to get me a bag of ice. The young lady directed me to I suppose the manager or owner not sure. I explained to him that I was not feeling well. I couldn’t walk and I really needed ice. Could you please have your delivery driver go next door to get me a bag of ice I will pay extra. He said you don’t have to pay extra I will give you ice. I ordered from Pats because the food is always fresh and delicious however this particular night, Pats overall made me feel so differently. I really had no one to help me in this situation and I was so grateful that Pat was willing to help me. The small gesture reminded me of the quote “people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” Maya. Read moreWe ordered sliders w/fries which was excellent in every way. But our other two dishes, chicken parm, and fettucine Alfredo with broccoli were awful. The chicken was thin, over cooked and very dry. It also didn't have enough tomato sauce in it for the amount of chicken and pasta. Additionally, it was so salty that we could only eat a few bites, and with sips of water in between. Same thing with the Alfredo; it was CRAZY salty. I was able to eat the broccoli pieces, since broccoli is bland by nature, with a few strands of the fettucine, but that was it, the rest of it had to be trashed. I am not salt-adverse in the least. I normally have to add salt to everything I eat, but these two dishes were absolutely inedible. Their prices are exceptionally high too, which I wouldn't mind paying if the food was edible. We also ordered the strawberry cheesecake dessert, which is served in a cup, parfait style, and was pretty good. What's weird is that we had the chicken parm from Pat's a couple of times before, a few years ago, and it was thick and juicy and delicious, so that's what I was expecting. I feel really burned right now. I spent 80 bucks with tax, delivery and tip basically for an order of sliders w/fries and two strawberry cheesecake desserts.
