Allergies had never been a problem for me up until about 5 years ago I started being affected, which got worse and worse. I believe in trying natural products due to my severe dry eyes, which my allergies were making worse. A few had helped some, but not the way I had hoped. About a month ago, I ran across Brent, a local Beekeeper who was setting up his tent in front of one of our favorite restaurants Jayâs Cafe in Needville. He was in the local honey business. After we ate, on the way out I stopped at his tent and ask him about allergies and honey. He explained honey has to come from the area in which you live for it to help allergies. I have never been a real fan of honey, mostly, because I never liked the taste. So, I bought the smallest bottle of his SweetNesHoney. When I got home I took a serving teaspoon of his honey. The next morning I did the same thing. I have to say I have never tasted such yummy honey and even better ... it cleared my allergies up. Yes, the SECOND DOSE cleared up my allergies. I was shocked. No more severe hoarseness, sneezing, and coughing due to sinus drainage. I donât miss taking a teaspoon each morning, not only because it keeps my allergies undercontrol, but because it tastes so good. Thanks, Brent, your SweetNesHoney...
Read moreI was out and about and I wanted to support this local business! And also my partner was sick . So I decided to stop into sweetnes In needville Texas to get some honey đŻ and what a wonderful surprise! 1st letâs get into the decor !!! It was a bee đ and đŻ fairytale! They had a lot of different honey options including manuka. Books, dishes , gifts all about honey and bees ! I talked to the owner she is amazing very knowledgeable and friendly she was a bee keeper so if you need help with bees give her a call! The owners definitely took time and dedication and it shows in the shop! I will definitely go back again! The honey I purchased was used for tea , and also some sauces for our meats and the honey is so so good! A1 ! Prices varied imo the prices was fair and good for a small local business. The higher the grade of honey the more expensive! Hope my review...
Read moreI canât recommend SweetNes enough!! I randomly discovered them through a Facebook post where multiple individuals recommended them. We needed local honey for allergy management and since theyâre basically down the road from us it felt worth trying.
We got honey and a cut honeycomb. The honey is sweet and floral and hands down the best honey we have ever had. You can tell these bees are happy and healthy. If youâve never had true fresh local honey, donât hesitate. It tastes nothing like packaged honey. Itâs an experience.
The honeycomb was ridiculously good. Thatâs a dessert! It melts in your mouth and tastes so good I canât even describe it. Prior to this, we had never tried honeycomb. With itâs recent popularity, this was more an impulse buy while I was getting honey but absolutely worth every penny. I will definitely be...
