I had a brake light out and went to buy a replacement bulb. Upon entering the parking lot, one of the employees was outside and I asked for him to help me confirm which light was out. He actually seemed happy to help me. He confirmed which one was out (and made sure my blinker light wasn’t out) and took me into the store to get the right bulb. He looked it up to double check. He took it upon himself to say he get the new one installed and get me on my way. It was tricky to get to my light system and he gladly removed 2 separate components to access the light area. I was beyond happy ( this would have likely taken me more than and hour or two to try and replaced myself). I’ve been in customer service for 20 years. I was pleasantly surprised at the service John S. was willing to give. He genuinely wanted to help me. Wow! Does not happen a lot these days! I tried to give him a cash tip and he wouldn’t accept it. So took it back to Autozone and they told me the battery is good after testing it. So I ignored it for a few months. Then took it into get oil changed and they told me same thing that I had a bad cell in battery. So got new battery and now it starts up great.Auto zone don't listen to facts about there products even with proof. The warranty is garbage because I told them that battery had a bad cell and they told me that oh Bergstrom just blames the battery because ya did not buy it from them. Come to find out the battery I bought from Autozone had a bad cell and they did not want to replace there bad product even under warranty. So what I got out of this experience is Autozone blames other companies for there own faulty product because they don't stand behind...
Read moreOn December 10, 2023 I went to the AutoZone in Neenah on Commercial street to get my car battery looked at, because my battery indicator gauge showed that my battery was low. An employee (Dylan) said he'd be happy to help. He checked the battery and came to the conclusion that I needed a new alternator. I bought an alternator and was going to change it, and Dylan probably knowing I never changed one before, came out and helped me change it (he did 99 percent of it). Dylan was very knowledge about the parts and tool, and I learned a lot that day from him. I just want to say thank you for being so kind and helpful.
