12/20/2021 Updated review. We stopped in this weekend to help the associate holiday fund and purchase the Christmas bulbs. The way customer's are treated by the two female bartenders is horrible. Also want to note there was someone passed out at the bar and people where taking pictures of the person. As the bartenders were just standing there. Took over 45 minutes for them to do something to get the person some help. Very sad experience. I sure hope he didn't have alcohol poisoning. Corey came in later to bartend. He is amazing with the customers. Talks to them and has a smile on his face every time we see him.
I've been to your location numerous times and have enjoyed myself most of the time. Not the best service with one particular bartender but I deal with it. I was there 02/03/2021 from 4:30 till about 7:45. I have to say I had the worst service I ever had. I hate to leave a bad review as normally I don't have a huge problem with this place. So that is why I gave three stars verses one on how I'm feeling right now. 1st: I went the bar to place an order for food. The lady/bartender stood by the register as I was yelling thru my mask giving my order. I felt that was very unprofessional, unfriendly, and a bit rude. It seems this one person really doesn't enjoy her job. Not friendly at all and makes you feel very unwelcome and or bothering her. This is with getting a drink and placing a food order. 2nd: not one associate was wearing a mask on their face. One had hers around her neck, but that doesn't do any good. 3rd: areas at the bar were not wiped down once a customer left and before a new customer came in. Yuck. 4th: got our food delivered to our table. We ordered the hamburgers pink and they were well done. We just ate them and said nothing as no one ever came back to our table to ask how everything was. I understand there is no service for the tables. But at the least you could check on the customer and ask about their food. 5th: a associate came to our table and asked if we were done with our caddy as she was taking it and walking away. Never waited for a response from us. Then proceeded to take the caddy to someone at the bar without even sanitizing. There is still a pandemic going on. I would think a little precautions should be taken. 5th: the other associate came an took our baskets and never said a word to us. I found that a bit odd as normally someone would say something. So I said thank you as she was walking away. In ending: I messaged thru Facebook trying to get a number to call the owner. They told me to call the city hall. I'm sorry but, really why even say that when this doesn't have anything to do with the city. It about his business. Never even offered to take my number so he can call me. I'm sorry but I'm very disappointed all around at this point. I don't think I'm out of line expressing on how my experience was. I'll give it another try, but I'm going to...
Read moreWe wanted to try someplace new for a Friday night fish fry, and happened to drive by this restaurant (we live in Oshkosh) saw their huge sign with their weekly specials and decided to stop. We thought we saw double bubble Mon-Fri on the sign, but found out it was Mon-Thur! Lol. I’ll come back to the drinks in a second! There are 2 doors to choose from to enter, one for the bar area, or one for the dining room. We entered the dining room to find out it’s one big hall (my husband said it reminded him of a VFW Hall) with lots of 4 top tables spread out and some large screen sports TVs on the wall. We were immediately seated, but felt a little out of place because the other patrons were a bit older than us, we might have been the youngest there and we are early 50’s. Looking over the menu, they had a great variety of appetizers, sandwiches, and dinners to choose from, and the prices…omg..the prices are AMAZINGLY CHEAP!!! It’s like looking at a menu from 5+ years ago! Absolutely LOVE the prices!! Our first waitress was awesome, we asked about double bubble, but found out it’s only Mon-Thurs, she then mentioned Old Fashioneds are cheaper in the Bar area if we wanted to eat over there, plus they have music and sports TVs playing, more our style. We seated ourselves at a high top table next to a window, and we were greeted right away by our second waitress, who was also phenomenal! She informed us they make great old fashioneds and all drinks come in a highball glass, so it’s actually a double drink! YESSS!!! Our drinks were made to perfection! My husband ordered the Seafood Platter and I ordered the Perch Platter both with tots, it also comes with buttered half of rye bread and a condiment cup of coleslaw that rivals KFC! When we received our plates, we were immediately shocked with how delicious the fish looked! The perch was beautiful with the perfect amount of golden breading, deep fried to perfection! I kept gazing at the piece of walleye my husband had on his plate, because it actually glistened in its own juice of seasoning and breading! I took a fork full of his walleye, and it was perfectly flaky and delicious! If you have ever eaten at The Bowl in Sister Bay, Door County, you will find that both places are like twins in how they batter and fry their fish! Simply melt in your mouth amazing! The Dome definitely has the better cocktails for sure! We couldn’t eat all our fish and ended up taking leftovers home. We got our bill and my husband was still in shock on how cheap it was for the two of us! If you are looking for a new Friday night fish fry, this is the place to try! Get there early though because they fill up fast! We definitely found our new Friday night fish fry here! Can’t wait for next week Friday! P.S. They also serve a 4 pc. Chicken dinner that we need to try, but it’s not...
Read moreThe food we had was good, but not what we wanted. Came in at 1:25 for a fish fry not knowing they only served until 1:30. Bartender (Sam) told us "we're all done serving fish" before we even asked for a menu and told us "it's 1:29 and we serve until 1:30. When asked if there was a chance we could get fish she said " well, I already brought all my stuff back." I worked in the food service for 50+ years and even if someone came in the doors 2 minutes before we closed, we served them. It's good customer relations and makes people want to come back. We came because we hadn't been there since they opened and really liked them at the old location. I used to work in Neenah (am now retired ) and stopped in occasionally on the way home. We don't live close to the Dome. There are a lot of good restaurants and bars that serve good food in the valley and I don't know if we'll drive from the north side of Menasha to the south side of Neenah again if that's how they treat their guests. After all - isn't my guest check (Tab) what pays...
