I was searching around for what we had around here as far as dress selection goes. Not knowing I had to make an appointment, I walked in and the lady at the front desk already seemed a little snobby and short with me. Already feeling unwanted, and kind of looked down upon for not knowing (as if every bridal shop required an appointment to just take a quick peek, which was not my experience that whole day that far) I started feeling embarrassed. I declined and left when she asked if I wanted to make an appointment for a later date, I just wanted to get out of there. Apparently I don't belong in such a high class shop as that (my personal feelings) Not to mention idk my work schedule very far in advance, and I can't really ask off. So an appointment isn't really doable for me, especially if all I want to do is see what they have, not necessarily try anything on. I recently went to Erika's to scout out some bridesmaid dresses. I heard that they allow walk-in appointments on Saturdays so I decided that just for a scouting mission I wouldn't make an appointment. It is possible that I caught them on a day they weren't busy, but I found their service phenomenal. They helped me look at and select dresses, gave me free swatches to take home, and went above and beyond without me even having an appointment. I found their selection to be very impressive and the staff to be very knowledgeable. I worked with Paige that day. She was so personable and really made me feel comfortable, like I was shopping with a friend. I am planning on getting my dresses from Erika's and would definitely recommend them for bridesmaid dresses (I would assume their bridal appointments are just as good, but I didn't look for my dress that day).
