New Alexandria Firemen's — Local services in New Alexandria

I, along with my wife and one of our friends, organize events showcasing electronic dance music performers. We rented the hall side of this business for our January party. At first, we were very pleased. The venue was nice and roomy, and the gentleman we dealt with was very accommodating. Once we started the music, we were informed that we couldn't play it too loudly because there were patrons at the bar next door. Well sorry, but I doubt those patrons paid $200 to sit at the bar for the night. We did pay that much for the hall, however. We were told we had to smoke outside, meanwhile, there were people at the bar chain smoking all night. At the end of the evening, we cleaned up and left the place looking nice. The owner, I'm assuming, came in flipping out on us, being rude and mouthy, saying we had to put all the tables back to where they were set up, we had to put the chairs back, and we had to put the table cloths back on the tables. We were never told we would have to do any of this when we asked if we could take down the tables and chairs. We put the tables back and left. They're lucky we did that much after the way we were talked to. Overall, not impressed. Would strongly not recommend renting...
