Bronzed Beauty — Local services in New Baden

I booked this place for my hair and makeup on my wedding day three months in advance. I went in for a trial the week before my wedding and spoke to the owner about my wedding the next weekend. On the day of my wedding, I arrived at the salon with my bridesmaids for my 2:15 appointment to find the salon closed. We tried unsuccessfully for 20 minutes to reach someone on the phone only to be contacted by a contracted hair stylist from another salon who said she had no idea I was booked. She offered for me to come to Aviston but by then we were running so far behind schedule we had to go back to the venue. Bless this stylist, however, because she dropped everything to drive out to the venue with her daughter in tow to do my hair. My bridesmaids were able to do my makeup but the stress and chaos this caused for us on our wedding day was something we did not need. Our ceremony ended up having to be pushed back by 20 minutes to accommodate the inconvenience of not having the services we paid for months in advance. My stylist informed me she works three jobs and relies on the owner of Bronzed Beauty to schedule the appointments since she is the one conversing with the customers, however my appointment was not on her schedule. The day after the wedding, we were informed by the owner of the venue we rented that another bride had the same experience with the salon. While the stylist who did my hair was a lifesaver, I cannot recommend this place to anyone nor would I wish the stress they caused...

My best friend booked this salon for her wedding. She was to have her hair and makeup done and hair for her bridal party. She paid the deposit months in advance, communicated with the owner several times and went to have a trial run the week prior to her wedding. The day of her wedding they show up for their appointment and the salon was closed!!!! It took nearly 20 minutes to get a hold of someone via Facebook then the owner pays a girl from another salon to go help the wedding party who is now at the venue at this point. The owner didn't even do it herself as was originally intended as she is who did the trial. The other hair stylist finally showed up but no makeup artist at all. The bride was forced to have a friend do what they could for her makeup and her ceremony was delayed 30 minutes because of this. Absolutely unacceptable for this to occur and there is literally NO excuse in the world for this. This is someone's wedding and this salon caused so much stress and tears that a bride should never have to experience on their big day. I do not recommend anyone go to...
