I am giving Crown a one star rating for there lack of ability to fix there own product. I had a C-5 with a high temp transmission code that came up every day. They sent a tech out three times to fix it. Finally I told them to pick it up and bring it to there shop to have there trans. tech look at it. After a couple of weeks not hearing from them I called them and I am glad I did as there where about to put in a new transmission. They never sent me an estimate or called me for approval. I asked them how they determined that the trans was bad. They could not tell me. I asked them who made there transmission. They could not tell me. I was not about to put a $13,000 new trans in with out know what was wrong and they where not going to find out. So told them to put it back together. I had another (non- Crown) dealer look it. They changed the trans fluid and filter and its running good as new. I have several of there batteries and electric lifts but this experience has put and end to it. I will never buy another Crown...
