WGK Glass Art — Local services in New Garden Township

What a horrible experience! Went to the 4th annual glass blowing and found that even though I had tickets they didn't have us on the list. After waiting an hour and showing e-mails and receipts they let us in but sent us to an outside vendor (Mack Glass) that did all the work. We had no hands on in making our own pumpkin. The pumpkins would also take overnight to finish before we could pick up. When I went to manager/owner they said the outside company was not in their control and nothing could be done. I explained that WGK sourced them in to the event because of such a demand. There was nothing stating that Mack glass would do all the work. Have limited colors to choose from, and the pumpkins take longer to cool. I did not sign up with Mack Glass but with WGK whom you have to purchase the tickets from through Eventbrite. Very friendly and accommodating people. I inquired into some of their glass beetles I saw online. They told me they were currently at an art show in center city Philly, but I could come by the studio sometime to see them in person. They then offered to bring the beetles to the art show in Philly if I was interested in coming there (they did not have the beetles at the art show at that time but said they'd bring them there specially for me). I went there a few days later and they had them there for me to look at in person. They let me take as much time as I wanted comparing them and answering my questions. And then on to the art itself. Beyond words. The pieces aren't cheap, but the skill and artsmanship involved in these pieces.......... Totally worth it...

This guy left me high and dry after a horrible experience. I contacted him and asked if he had a specific item. He eventually sent me a picture of the item and after quite a few messages finally sent me a paypal link to pay for the item. I than waited and waited. After a month I tried contacting him and again I waited. Sent another message a week later. Finally responded that they are out of stock and that he refunded my money. He never offered to make the piece or offer maybe a discount on another item. All he offered were excuses that he was busy at shows. He is all talk and no action. He has no idea how to run a business. If you order you too may be extremely disappointed. Beware. Oh by the way after I left a negative review on Facebook...
