PrimoHoagies — Restaurant in New Garden Township

We arrived from California on Tuesday and couldn’t wait to get a hoagie from what we thought was the best place: PrimoHoagies. I couldn’t wait, so on Wednesday, I ordered 5 sandwiches for pickup (in Kennett Square). I also requested sweet peppers, pickles and oil/vinegar on the side. Two of the sandwiches were cheese deluxe hoagies. When we got home, we found that the items we requested on the side were missing. But the most serious problem was the cheese hoagies. One was well made but the other was mostly lettuce and tomato with only a couple of slices of cheese and definitely not the 3 cheeses that should have been on it. We put both cheese hoagies next to each other and we could see how different they were. We come here from California a few times a year to visit with my son and his family. We look forward to the Philly food treats: hoagies, cheese steaks and soft pretzels. We were so disappointed, we thought PrimoHoagies was the best but we were sadly mistaken. How could 2 of the same sandwiches be so vastly different?? We couldn’t eat the lettuce and tomato sandwich so we had to share what we had. This is a total disgrace, we travelled 2500 miles to be so disappointed. NEVER AGAIN. And my son who frequently orders there will also stop. I just can’t understand why you could sell such a disgusting hoagie with your name...

We absolutely loved primo hoagies. Hands down they have the best seeded rolls ever. They were so fresh and delicious and they made our hoagie superb. We ordered a classic Italian with hot and sweet peppers on the side and a bag of chips because you can't have a hoagie without chips. Service was fast and efficient and the young lad that waited on us was super friendly and nice it was after lunch time so it was a little slow but we had a private table in the back and it was quiet just the way we like it. They have so many delicious sandwiches there we had a hard time choosing so we just went with the original. We have nothing but good things to say about primo hoagies. The prices are reasonable, they have hot and cold sandwiches, and they even cater. What a treat to eat here yesterday thank you primo hoagies for serving the Chester county community all these years. Please bring your friends and family out to this location and don't forget to order for your special events. They do take Apple pay and if you do not receive a receipt then your order is free. The restaurant was spotless and so were the bathrooms, Eva the landscaping was gorgeous....

I have been coming here since they opened and I have had nothing but incredible experiences. The staff is extremely friendly the food is incredible and I will continue to be a patron here until my arteries clog up! Lol But seriously this food is good! And the prices aren’t bad for the quality you receive! Definitely stop in and get yourself a Primo Bada bing, or they’re toasted Abruzzi don’t forget to ask for extra long hots! 10/10 the BEST! And the Pasta salads that they offer as well as their coleslaw and potato salad...
