Miller's Super Valu — Local services in New London Township

For a small town store, if you absolutely need something in a crunch, go ahead. Sometimes you can find great deals on meats, but a lot of other things are outrageously priced. There is no diverse food selections. The ethnic food sections absolutely suck. I'd love to see more authentic hispanic, Asian, and other culture's products in a shelving section and in a freezer section.

They take advantage of the fact that there isn't another grocery store within 25mins of town, and customers pay. The staff is helpful & we do have our favorite cashier's, but overall, I try not to shop here too much because...

I went in this store for the first time several days ago. It was uninviting...almost dreary. I expect a grocery store to be bright and well lighted with some semblance of order. What I was met with was a low lit, almost dark, store that appeared old and run down. I had difficulty finding things as the aisle signage us not very accurate and there was no employee to be found. What I did find of the things I was looking for were overpriced which I didn't expect. When I got to the checkout I was barely greeted as the cashier was talking with...

Went in to buy a birthday cake and some candles. Found them, of course, but then changed my mind and bought a pair of camping propane canisters. I thought my buddy would like the practical gift more than a decorated cake and candles. He turned 45 yesterday, and he owns one of the other businesses I have reviewed in Chicago.
