Lucky Duck — Local services in New London

CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!!! My boyfriend and i took a trip down there to see some family of mine. We stopped at the Lucky Duck on the way out, after buying our things, we left the store and I had ran over to the car because the weather is cold. We were accused of stealing because we ran OUTSIDE of the store. I started to run on the sidewalk in front of the store. (we walked out of the store) One of the girls with glasses came out and told us that we just stole a bunch of things. (we BOUGHT ONE duck) my boyfriend didn’t grab his receipt and when he told her to go ask her co-worker, her co-worker FORGOT she sold him anything. Until she knew what she had sold to him. I was having a good day until I bought a stoner duck from the store and when I was ready to leave after buying the duck my girlfriend ran to our car cause she was cold, so I ran with her and a worker came outside saying we stole the duck plus other things because we ran as we got outside the doors. Very poor customer service as her co worker then said she didn't remember selling the duck initially ( less than 5 minutes after selling me the duck, not to mention she was on her phone when I was checking out, had to get her attention) then remembered that she did sell it to me. We were visiting New London. My brother in law said Main Street has changed from last time he was here and wanted to check it out. We were quite surprised when we walked through the front door. This store has a huge collection of toys, candy, and games for kids and adults. There was a huge collection of rubber ducks next to the entrance. We were greeted when we came into the store and offered some popcorn samples. Our son had a wonderful time at the store. He enjoyed the train and marbles. We liked the board games and puzzles. We couldn’t believe there was even more things downstairs. This store brought so much fun for the whole family. We would highly recommend it...
