Trader's Market Inc — Local services in New Market Township

My wife and I were driving by with our twin 11 year old boys on Friday, August 30th on our way out of town for the weekend and decided to stop. They had a sign that showed early hours admission is $25.00 a person, right next to the sign that showed kids under 12 were free with normal admission. We understood the early fee and were willing to pay $50.00 for the two of us adults to enter. The cashier wanted to charge an additional $50.00 for our two 11 year old boys to tag along. Very disappointing that they wanted $100.00 for our family of four so we turned around and left. Have you been to Traders Market since Jeffrey Marthaler took it over? Thank God he did. It has been cleaned up, and is well organized. There was a ton more vendors, and the bathrooms were really clean. He also had more food vendors and more places to sit. Its such a lovely setting with plenty of shade to get out of the sun. Simply said this show was such an improvement from the previous management. We go to a lot of the shows Prime, Junk Bonanza, they are getting smaller and smaller every year. Always a good browse. Be sure to schedule 4-6 hours of wandering around time. Avoid crazy crowd days, especially the folks who think their stroller is "small". We've always found a good deal, even if we had to search high and low for it. Bring water and snacks because food is pricey, and the water is a 1.00.
