Carnival Club Casino — Local services in New Orleans

Edit: I debated for a long time before finally deciding to post this review but I think it's necessary to tell this story so people can make an informed please read the entire review because at the end and ends up good. I do apologize about the length of this review

usually enjoy this place and ive won a few times off of minimal bets. Most attendants are nice but a cpl are down right mean. A few years ago on new years eve. I was accused to taking someone else's machine but there was no money in it and no sign. I walked up and tried to put money in it but it wouldn't take it so I taped on the screen a few times and then bam it took my money I sat and played until about 10 mins later a man came up yelling and screaming saying I took his machine... I state no that I had been playing for a few minutesand he raises his fist as if he was gonna punch me in my face.. so I started yelling wait up what is going on here.. He looked around and asked everyone y'all seen me playing this machine and they all said yeah he was although none of them had even turned their heads to see me sitting there much less notice he had apparently walked away a min or so before I walked up... Next thing I know they say I have to leave and the attendant grabs my arm and tries to make me move. Well I was trying to cash my ticket and they refused that and got security to make me leave saying it wasn't my money to keep. I was the only white person in the whole building beside the security guard and He only listened to the attendant saying I had to leave. I very much believe that race was part of the issue. I was made to feel very uncomfortable due to this. I've never had this problem here( or anywhere to be honest) before this or since this. They refused to look at the cameras or anything. I was told if I didn't leave they would be calling NOPD. I left, leaving behind my money which was less than $100 but more than say $25.

Needless to say after all of that I didn't step foot in there for a cpl years until about 2years ago now. When I finally went back I was pleasantly surprised at the new atmosphere in the place. The same attendant (who doesn't remember me) is much nicer than my previous visit. When I win I always tip and I've even tipped this attendant every time I've won. That's just me.

The have full size sodaa now ( now the micro size cans they used to have) I was offered muffins for breakfast... Employees so sweet!!only reason I didn't give 5 stars. Was because I didn't win...

Small, quaint. Non-smoking. Be hydrated before coming to spend your money at this casino--There's only one person working the cash cage and the bar - so expect slow service. There's a security guard that buzzes you in. Be aware that the entrance/exit door is tricky....word of advice - push or pull hard!! No cash drawings or guest enticing games to keep customers coming. The machines are mainly new machines but there’s roughly 10 old machines still available to play. Some days you come in- you may get a security guard that has a major attitude!! I’ve never known them to close the facility but come in at 6:27am on Tuesday 5/27 and the security guard just stops you before you get to the door and says “uh uh “ as he shakes his head. So you have to ask “are they closed?” And he’ll respond with a “yah”. Wtf??? Anyway- taking my money elsewhere. There’s plenty of joker poker casino/facilities out there willing to...

This place is So nasty and down right filthy I don't understand why people are going there I was visiting from out of town never ever will I return to this establishment again it needs to be shut down no bathroom but the place smells like a garbage pit the only reason why I gave a star is that's the only way it would let me post this place doesn't deserve...
