Rainbow Grocery — Local services in New Orleans

Rainbow grocery is the kind of a little hole in the wall convenience store in New Orleans that – when you actually get in there - opens up to all manner of convenience.

From the cash register, I could not see the fact that they had an awesome wine selection and alcohol, coffee service, and even a hot food kitchen.

Moried, our host at the cash register, told me that he moved here from Palestine 15 years ago. Between his income from cashiering and also construction work, he finds it possible to fly back to Palestine on a regular basis.

He was a very warm, soft-spoken, gracious host.

Thank God for a Late Night Place to get some hot food to go that doesn't charge excessively & it's quality home cooking. More businesses should follow the example stay open till 2am hire the right working people & make the customers happy. Seems conservative & friendly will definitely give repeat business. Wish they would do...
