My friend and I had a great time. I wish I realized there was a GroupOn, but it was worth it regardless. We did 30 minute smash which was probably 5 minutes too long for us.

The weapons and items to destroy are surprisingly thoughtful. They gave us plenty of glass to play baseball with. The monitor had some really great guts to pulverize. And the metal tubes and car door took a beating the entire time and still could have taken more. It was a great workout and a ton of fun. Metal music works great.

My biggest concern is I didn't know we were getting a CRT monitor. Those contain heavy metals and after it was busted the air was laden with it. I wish I had brought a mask and we saved the monitor until the end so I could have worn it. But breathing in some heavy metals once shouldn't kill you.

Also, while the protective gear was effective, the ear muffs were biting into my head a bit. I tried to adjust them, but may just not have known how. Spend some time doing that...

This place had glowing reviews, so my sister and I came for my birthday. We were quite disappointed with the experience.

First, we did the smash room, and our guide didn't give us protective eye goggles that fit over glasses. I couldn't smash anything without worrying about glass in my eye. She also didn't provide any ear plugs or noise canceling headphones like you see in the pictures. I wanted to smash things, but it was so loud that my ears were ringing, and I wanted to quit before the 15 minutes had even passed.

We did the paint room afterwards, and let me tell you, they are very stingy with the paint. We ran out before our 15 minutes were over. We each got one tiny canvas to paint on. Otherwise, we could paint the walls, but they were graffitied with the paint of hundreds of clients before us. We didn't get a blank slate like you see in the photos at all.

It was such a shame because this place had such great reviews and looked so promising...

I cannot recommend the Smash Room in NOLA enough! From the moment we walked in, the staff was super friendly, energetic, and made sure we felt safe and hyped for the experience. The setup was clean, well-organized, and you could tell they take pride in what they do.

They let us pick our own playlist (major bonus!) and gave us a great rundown on how to properly (and safely) destroy everything in sight. Once we were suited up and in the room, it was absolute chaos—in the best way possible. TVs, bottles, printers—anything you’ve ever wanted to take a sledgehammer to, they’ve got it. It was an incredible stress reliever and surprisingly therapeutic.

Whether you’re looking to blow off steam, do something wildly different on your NOLA trip, or just want to smash stuff with your friends or partner and laugh until your sides hurt, this is the spot.

We’ll definitely be back. 10/10 would recommend grabbing a bat and...

Me and my significant other have been both going through personal troubles such as an overwhelming work schedule and stress. So, I decided to take her here to relieve some stress for both of us. We were not disappointed in the slightest. I am beyond grateful for picking this place to visit. We arrived to the sign outside the door reading “Welcome [our names]”. Then, we walked inside, and the atmosphere was very peaceful and inviting. We got to write what we were going through on plates, then went inside the room to break said plate and everything else in the room while listening to our own music on a speaker. We chose 15 minutes and actually got to stay for about 20. Then after, we were read some affirming words. We cherished our entire experience and would definitely not only recommend this to anyone, but we would also go back in a heartbeat!
