The best place to photograph this bridge is actually from the Mississippi River Trail at a spot just northeast from this bridge's marker. There is an inlet from the intersection of Socrates St. and Brooklyn Ave. After crossing the railroad tracks, there's a big empty lot to the right to park your car (assuming you're driving with all your camera equipment). Climb up the levee and you'll get a nice panoramic view of both the city and the bridge. If you're really ambitious, you can fit both in a super wide panoramic shot. The angle is slightly off compared to the photo spot labelled "New Orleans Downtown View" just north of here in Algiers Point, but the addition of being able to add the Riverwalk and the bridge to your composition might be worthwhile to check...

Connecting Eastbank, the BEST BANK New Orleans to Westbank New Orleans; the CCC, as its often called, is just one of many great engineering designs in the city.
Thenly down fall, even after the expansion and the removal of TOLLS & TOLL BRIDGE, the congestion remains. Oh woe is me.
However, love the view from this bridge, as far as the eye can see, miles and miles of NEW ORLEANS SCENERY. Can't stop to 'snap it up', that might be a bit dangerous.... but just taking it in with your eyes is...
