After a lukewarm experience at a lighting store in Nashua, I made the decision to drive an hour east to visit Rockingham Electric and am very happy that I did. We recently remodeled our kitchen and I needed the help of a lighting designer who could tell me where to place ceiling lights, and why type of lights I needed. Crystal, the showroom manager, spent an hour with me, showing me what options were available. She followed up with an email quote, we changed a couple of things, and I placed my order with her over the phone later that afternoon. She was charming, knowledgeable, and so helpful. Elisha was amazing and gave attentive service. She inquired about what I was looking for and showed me some fixtures in the store and more on their website (I wanted damp-rated rattan). Elisha then gave me a lay of the land of the store, which was helpful.

I looked around at my own pace, and inquired with questions if I had them. Selection of fixtures was extensive. The store had all the top brands and many were on sale.

I decided on a large glass pendant from Visual Comfort and she packed it up nicely for me and even helped me out to my car. So very kind.

Can’t beat the service or the tax free shopping! Big fan....

Remodeling our entire downstairs. We prefer to support & shop locally vs. online. I went in today to shop and get some advice. I was there walking around for a good 25-30 minutes browsing. I can appreciate being given a moment to shop however no one greeted me, asked if I had any questions, needed assistance, etc. There were at least 4 people working. Two were behind the desk on their computers. Of course I could have approached them, but it just did not feel welcoming at all. This was not the first time but the second time this has happened.
