Store failed miserably. Bought a bicycle online, but it was out of stock. They emailed me saying they would let me know when it's back in stock. I found the same bike in the Newington, NH store, and the good news is the manager, Ron, priced it according to the sale online. Sold, but I test rode the bicycle, and it wouldn't going to gear and the chain came off. So I called (and waited 10 min on hold) the next morning to find out if the Assembler, Pete, was in the store the next day, to fix it. I loaded it in the SUV, back to the store, waited for Pete to come out, and he took it to fix it while I was in the store for approximately 35 minutes. I thought I left with a repaired bicycle, but now it wouldn't go up to the 2nd gear on the front sprocket. When I returned to have it repaired, Pete was now on one hour lunch, so I left, coming back at 1.5 hours later. The bike was still sitting there. Bethany had never told Pete about the adjustment that needed to be made. Next, Pete says that the cable is too loose so he took it to fix the cable and just to gears forwarding to mention on the sprocket, to change gears. Now 40 minutes later, Pete tells me the sprocket has been adjusted, but the handle bar speed ratio cannot be fixed according to 1,2, and 3 on the sprocket. When riding the bike, you must turn it to 3 in order to get it to go to 2. I have never had such a hard time getting a bike on the trail. Not sure if I will return it, because my granddaughter may have a difficult time writing it. It's just not working right.
While I was there, another very disappointed customer made a lot of noise and canceled his order. This store just cannot get it together and provide good...
Read moreToday i had a very unpleasant experience with a pharmacist named Martha . I am a 72 year old woman, smart and i advocate for my own health. I dropped of a prescription for a sleep medication i have been taking for 10 years under my physicians supervision. Without any side effects. I had no problem with the long wait as i enjoy browsing/shopping. Today i was picking up my new glasses, a delightful experience with Melissa. When I was paged to pick up my Rx i was told that it could not be filled without an okay from my Doctor (who had given it to me yesterday!) regarding the dosage that was not the one, according to Martha, that a new study supported. I told her I had read the report - her reply was astonishing..'perhaps your doctor hasn't read it then'. She had also cancelled the Rx and written her advisory 'message' across the special paper. I left in a fury, having spoken angrily for the first time, ever, in a public place. I intend to speak with my Doctor on Monday. Meanwhile i do not have the medication he prescribed for me ! When I used AARP Plan D Rx i always simply checked No thanks! when asked if I wanted a consult. My other Rx was for an injection of Bcomplex which i have self administered for 10 years for anemia. Martha insisted on a scripted tutorial on self injections blah blah blah and i just lost it.She informed me that if i didn't listen, she would drag it out for as long as she wanted to.By now I had been in the store for 2 hours. Martha's attitude was prissy, demeaning and condescending. She really should not be allowed to deal with the public, especially older persons. Beware before you sign up with Humana. My first Walmart experience was...
Read moreAfter my friend and I were done shopping we went outside and I had to call Uber so we could get a ride home. It took a little longer than expected because Uber was busier than usual so we sat down and waited. An employee came over to us and asked us how long we were going to be outside. At this point the store was closed. I politely explained to her that we were just waiting for a ride and that Uber and the taxi companies were backed up and she then told us that we were on privately owned property and there's no loitering aloud. I went back to were I was sitting and she walked off. We had just spent money in the store and were just waiting for our ride so I found that to be pretty disrespectful. I will say I used to work in that same Walmart and I can't think of any manager at that time that would have gone outside and said that to someone. We ended waiting there anyway until our ride came but I did notice her look around the corner at us again before we left. Thank you for shopping at your friendly...
