Subway — Restaurant in Newington

I've going to this Subway for about 5 years maybe more...There were other people working there about 5 years ago that weren't good at all just read the reviews above, but now there's this beautiful Turkish women there that is very friendly she's was running behind in making my subs so she gave me a couple of chocolate chip cookies for free... everytime I go there she's very nice and as a good attitude lets face it dealing with the public making there food is not easy she handles it very good...in fact I think she should part of corp not making subs that's how good I think she is...she speaks very good English that she told me wasn't taught in school in Turkey she learned it on her own...I asked her her name but I couldn't pronounce it (embarrassing..) so I ask if she had a nickname said "Mell" is good and in fact after leaving I was even thinking of asking her if she was single... :) Anyways this is a good subway and I thought I'll be going back to this subway! :) Şiddetle...

Went in to order a Mexicali sub. I asked if I could have it on a wrap. We had a coupon for two foot longs. Found out not allowed to use it on Mexicali. So we got it any ways paid reg price. My husband got a cold cut sub. The ladies on the counter had bad attitudes because we wanted to use your coupons. We did not know nor did it say you couldn't use them on certain subs. They did not point out the sign that was on the wall. We didn't see it as people were in front of it. We never raised our voices or was disrespectful. One server said if you want to contact a lawyer go ahead. We said that's not what we want. We just wanted a little respect and some courtesy. It was the most horrible experience ever. We always go there but not any more. My Mexicali was so full of quarcamoli that everything was full of slime do bad I couldn't hold it to eat. I had to throw it away. I have...

8:26pm 5/22/2025. the employee on shift spent 20 minutes talking to a girl while our online order was waiting to be made (I was late to work because of this). this gentleman then took 10 more minutes to make our sandwiches, after screwing one up and having to remake it. we had to get our own bags of chips and were not given our items in bags with napkins even though it was a to go order. this was an incredible inconvenience. the employee did not have a name tag but hopefully with the date and time given and there only being one employee working this can be dealt with. will not be returning to this location.

EDIT: 8:44PM. sandwich was still incorrect and uncut, had employee make it incorrectly yet again. this is pathetic, will be following up with...
