I order a specialty bouquet for my mother for Motherâs Day. I specifically asked for sunflowers to be included in the bouquet because they are my Motherâs favorite. The first phone call I had with the owner was very pleasant, she assured me with no hesitations that I would have sunflowers for my mother. She never said âI might not have themâ or âmy truck comes in tomorrow and I have to check to see if they come inâ, nothing at all in regards to not having them. Thatâs why when my Mother sent me the picture of the flowers she was given, I was in disbelief. My first thought was that the delivery guy mixed up the orders and gave my mother the wrong order. So I called up the floral shop and first talked to an employee. She informed me that the truck came in and there wasnât any sunflowers on the truck, so they substituted them with another flower. So I still remained calm and asked why I wasnât called to ask if this was okay or at least just given a notice of this. I could have cancelled my custom order with them and ordered elsewhere. The employee then put the owner on the line. Where we went in circles, she would say âI didnât get any sunflowers on the truck, so I substituted the sunflowers with something elseâ and I would say âbut maâam, I would have at least liked a call to say you were doing so and then I could have agreed or asked for a refundâ...She then said extremely snarky and rude âdo you want me to call my driver to come to the shop to grab a FAKE sunflower so you can stick it in your motherâs arrangement, would that make you happy.â I of course was getting very upset and almost crying at this point. After I said a couple times that I would have liked a call before she did what she did, she said to me â listen, I donât have time to call people all day long.â She heard the frustration in my voice and she actually laughed at me multiple times, she was very condescending. I understand she probably has a great rapport with the locals around Nanticoke, but with me she was so very rude and unprofessional. I wish I could upload the pictures of the bouquet my mother received. It was not worth the $55.00 I paid. I live in Florida, so this was supposed to mean a lot to me to give this to my mother, whom I havenât seen in over 2 years. When I looked at them the white Rose's were wilted and brown. I called to complain and I went back to shop . She said they were the best Rose's you can buy ! There is nothing wrong with these then started to peeling petals off a ton !! I said what are you doing there is going to be no rose left ?! She said that's how you want it . I wanted nothing more then to ask for my money back ,but knew with 3 hrs left before prom I wasn't able to get new ones made in that time. I will attach pictures here if I cant.
