I went with my family white water rafting and was referred to bootleggers to stop in for a moonshine slushee. So we did, sadly. Ended up being a victim of the most disgusting and disrespectful customer service. We bought 4 slushees and when she went to get the last one she was going to pour the wrong slushee so we told the cashier, trying to be nice so that she wouldn’t have to go back and pour another. They were rude about that and blamed us. We were then told “stand over there” as she pointed to the right of her. No please or could you just told like we were nothing more than a pawn. We didn’t say anything and moved where she told us. Then the other lady brought out the last slushee and the lid wasn’t on with the slushee leaking out. I asked if I could get a napkin and was told “you have a towel.” Yeah just what I want to do is stain a pink towel with blue slushee because you’re inconsiderate. She then got me a napkin and as I was cleaning up the side and putting the lid on the whole way (as they should’ve done) the words “you know those are portable right” were said to us. Meaning for us to get out of the store bc it was busy. And believe me I wanted to get out of that place as fast as I could but wasn’t able to because I was trying to fix my drink. I don’t know why some people feel so entitled or act as if they are better than anyone else. What happened to treating people with respect especially with the people supporting your business? Joke of customer service. Learn some manners and treat people like you want to be treated (like all moms say). Other than that the moonshine was okay. I would recommend this place if you want to go for some average moonshine with a side of...
Read moreWe went rafting down the road. Decided to stop on the way out. Alwyas up for trying someone elses spin on moonshine. $5 to sample 10 flavors. That right in line with most places. SOrry just really not impressed at all. The wife stopped after 4 samples. I was nope I am trying them all. I lliked maybe 3 of the 8 moonshines. THen got to the whiskey. I was like ok these have to be good. NOPE. Not at all one tatsted like a watered down borbon. They other. I don't know how to describe it. The girl kept trying to make excuses. Oh Ole Smoky and Sugarland don't even make their own moonshine. THey big it in and then flavor and package. Also the other pitch was Oh this flavor it you mix it with this or that. So if you have to mix your moonshine with something else to make it drinkable. Something is not quite right. I guess we have gottn used to drinking better moonshine than they had to offer. Sorry our...
Read moreWhat a wonderful gem! We were camping nearby and walked in on a cold, rainy day. Took advantage of the superb $5 for 10 mini shots deal. Just do it. You’ll never regret it. The warmed apple pie 🥧 moonshine paired with the fog descending on the Smokies made for an evening I will truly never forget. We have been traveling for six months solid across the USA and I don’t exaggerate when I say, this place is exactly what inspires our travels. Good people, good booze, and the soul of why we are all part of this beautiful place called earth. 🌎 P.s. they are dog friendly! So long as your dog is friendly of course 😍 🐕 P.p.s of course we left with a bottle of moonshine 🌝 and...
