Newton Foods — Local services in Newton

For being the only grocery store in Newton Illinois besides Dollar General this is one pricey store everything is overpriced hard to believe that this store is like that they opened a new Dollar General in town so now we have two Dollar Generals and one over over over overpriced store I can't believe the town can't get it together and get one really good grocery store instead of dollar generals so for me it's driving to Olney Illinois or Robinson Illinois to go to Walmart or any of the stores they have around there effingham's got some good stores I think it's better to drive than to go pay...

Expensive. Realistically you would be better off to just drive on in to olney or effingham with the money you spend in gas you'll save in what you dont spend. This is our (Newton, IL residents) local grocery store & since Martin's bought it I can say even though the prices went up so did the quality of food. I think the produce is great but what I'm most impressed with is the meat they offer. It is of the highest quality & a great selection. So I guess you get what you pay for...
