Horribly disappointed and upset with our first and only transaction with The Castle. My husband and I went in on 4/6 to purchase a lawn mower. The young lady helping us told us she could give us a discount on any mower we chose. After picking one out, she said then she couldn't give us a discount. We specifically asked if the mower worked. She said yes. While trying to ring us up, a gentleman employee came over and said he couldn't get that mower to work. Strike one, the lady lied to us to make a sale and didn't offer a discount like she said. So we asked the gentleman about another mower. He said that one did work. We took his word on it and bought it. Shame on us for trusting their word. We get the mower home and it won't start. We put in fresh gas, cleaned carburetor, bought new plugs, and watched countless tutorials on how to fix this thing. We couldn't get it to work. So the next day, we took the mower back WITH the receipt. The woman there first told us it was sold as-is. We said the woman who sold it to us yesterday said we could bring it back with a receipt. So she then offered us a store-credit only. We were willing to pay another $30 for the other mower in exchange. So we took the other mower outside and it wouldn't work either!!! So we asked about a total refund and they insisted on store credit only. So while in the store, I called around to find a repair man. Every quote we got JUST TO DIAGNOSE the problem was more than we paid for the mower itself!! So now we are stuck with a mower that doesn't work, that we've already put money into trying to fix it. Thanks for selling us a piece of junk, The Castle, and not standing by customer service.

   Read moreI am a competition shooter and I tried to purchase a rifle from this company off the internet. 4 or 5 days after hearing nothing and trying to purchase it I finally reached someone from this company(by finding their number through an internet search) and they hung up on me multiple times as I heard the girl saying teen type statements towards her phone. After that they did not try to call me again so I finally asked them to just cancel my purchase. Which seems very reasonable considering their performance up to that point. Im sure shipping would have been the next problem⌠At that point they tried to tell me I would have to pay approx 200$ cancellation feeâŚ.for me not wanting to deal with any more of their incompetence and disregard. They then reported me to the auction site as a non pay buyer(which I am not) that would get me suspended if they werent in the wrong(which they are). They dont even bother to call me or better have the owner or a manager call me and attempt to straighten it out when they screw up but instead attempt to do something harmful to the customer. Businessâs and individuals who operate without ethics are part of what is wrong with this country these days. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs and hope they go out...
   Read moreI looked to buy some 1081 musket caps for my muzzle loader for over 4 weeks, talking to every local gun shop in the state and also making thorough searches online. The online "companies" that had the product in stock for scam sites that would only take Paypal, etc. None of 'em legit! I came across Castle Arms and was skeptical to say the least, but they checked out with the BBB, the Ky registration of businesses, had real brick and mortar stores at several locations that showed up on Google maps, etc. Since they took Visa/MC, I decided that I could get my money back it Castle was another scam site. It most certainly was not! The order arrived yesterday, and it was exactly what I wanted and had ordered. I think that they may currently be the only place to get these musket caps outside of a brick-and-mortar store in Europe!
