The Village Mermaid — Local services in Norfolk

My wife and I visited The Village Mermaid yesterday. The owners are personable, friendly, and knowledgable. Their selection of items is incredible. They have so many old treasures, and even new creations by talented artisans. I'd venture to say that should you walk into the store, you will certainly find something that'll tug at you. I am very familiar with this shop. The owners are wonderful people and also the hosts of Riverview Village Days, a huge vendor based selling event that takes place the 2nd and 4th Sundays from April-December at the Lafayette Park. There is so much to be found at the shop. EVERYTHING from whimsical to eclectic to vintage to antique. If you're into antiques, this store is a great place to drop in at. Lots of beautiful furniture pieces, vintage art, albums and knick knacks. Owner was super friendly!
