We were at the Franklin Institute and Crazy Aaron was giving a demonstration. There were 5 kids and 3 adults at the table and despite having two containers of the material, left one container untouched on the table while letting three of the kids and an adult touch material. He left two of the kids standing there and fully ignored them. He didn't look at them, didn't gesture towards them, but acted like they weren't there. In fact when the one little boy said he was back, Aaron dismissively said something like,"Yeah I know why don't you go over there and check out some putty." My autistic son was the other little boy who worked up a lot of courage to even come to the Franklin Institute because of the crowds, let alone walk up to the demonstration table. He loves slime and would have bought some of it.
Later we walked by and he was taking pictures with people and acting as if he was on the red carpet. He is a legend in his own mind and he acts as if he invented silly putty. Get a grip.    Read moreMy grandson is visiting from Alaska, and my granddaughter had her 5th birthday on Friday. Someone suggested that we visit Crazy Aaron's in Norristown for the occasion. What a well kept secret that was! I did not know Crazy Aaron's was located right in our back yard. This place was great! The young lady and young man working in the Shop were so friendly and kind to my grandchildren. They explained all the different types of putty, showed us some cool things to do with the putty, and then helped us each make our own free mini tin of putty to take home. We even caught a glimpse of Aaron himself, on his way to a meeting. I told my coworkers that this is a trip they must put on their bucket list, as something to do with their kids and grandchildren. We will be back to...
Read moreWe had a fantastic experience here! I live 5 minutes from the location, but never had stopped in. The woman that greeted us told us we could make our own free putty in a tin once we were done exploring. My 10-year-old son and I looked all around and found so many amazingly cool products. We had known about crazy errands putty for years, but had never been in this location. She guided us through the DIY, and we had a blast! Ended up making a little purchase of some favorite things and will definitely be back! Feel so blessed to have such a cool business local to me! Absolutely check them out if you have kids that love slime, putty, dough etc! I think the woman that worked with us was named Lisa or Lori or something, ask for her...
