I always go here first before checking any of the big box or chain hardware stores. It reminds me of the hardware store I used to go into as a kid, and this type of throwback feel and service is hard to find. The owner is always there and always offers help. You can find many things you need in there; Yard tools, bird food, cleaning supplies, ice melt, flashlights, extension cords, all kinds of nuts and bolts - Ive even got keys made and my pruning shears sharpened here. Update May 2019: I continue to purchase my light fixtures and lamps here. The incentives from the MassSaves program allow the store to offer light bulbs and fixtures at incredible prices. I enjoy chatting with the owner too....
