Rainbow Lodge Retreat Center — Local services in North Bend

This was a fantastic retreat space. We held our group's biennial in person retreat at the center this year and it exceeded our expectations. We ended up with a much larger group than we originally anticipated and were at max capacity for the Lodge. Despite our very large group and the wealth of dietary restrictions that came with us Rainbow Lodge was ready. The space was lovely and had lots of different sorts of areas and pockets of space that folks could make use of for conversation, crafting, and games.

The staff were amazing, especially Fran who was the hostess with the absolute most-ess. She did an excellent job of keeping our group up-to-date on any information or updates from the Lodge while also doing an excellent job of making sure our very large group had our needs met. And she did it with a joyful, knowledgeable, and humorous demeanor. We would book here again just to get to hang out with Fran.

Getting to have the whole location to our group was very cozy. We had multiple small groups walk the trails and grounds at different times and take in the beautiful scenery. The large back deck was lovely for folks to get to just hang out and unwind. The multiple fire pits were much appreciated for small groups to get to congregate around.

What few situations that happened to pop up during our nearly 70 person 4 day retreat were all very minor and quickly addressed by the staff. We had an absolutely lovely time. And I hope our PNW satellite group get the chance to plan something there again...

Went to the rainbow lodge for the first time 10/31/22 - 11/04/2022 for the discovery retreat with my non profit organization peer Washington. The lodge itself is so beautiful. They have a very peaceful vibe going on. The staff, owner and cooks were always very nice, welcoming and respectful of their guests. They were able to give me gluten free food and they always offered Sammy's or something else if guests were still hungry or whatever. The staff pretty much want you to feel like home, so they don't talk to you too much. You clean up after yourself like general housekeeping stuff. They will bus your dishes at meal times, and give you fresh towels if you need them. They do have lovely scented blood orange body care products in the showers (shampoo, conditioner and body wash) they have some animals running around like a duck, chickens, dog and cat. There is some stunning wild life and wilderness surrounding the entire property. If I went in a warmer season I would have enjoyed relaxing in the hamocks and volleyball court. However at night they have a beautiful rock gas fire place in the patio in the back which is a wonderful spot to chill and engage in beautiful conversation with peers. There is just a presence when you walk in the building. You feel the good vibes and all of the good energies from the past. I have posted some pictures which barely do it justice. First day back from the lodge and let me tell you something ....from the moment you walk in those doors you will already feel the love and comfort like you feel like you're so far away from the rest of the world.....you feel 0 negativity the entire time ....I was able to go into a meditation so deep with about 30 guys in the room....we got along the entire time....the feeling I got with all the other guys I felt like I gained 30 friends...honestly it was hard to say bye it felt like I've seen these guys before.....they left us with a connection and spiritual attachment to each other where I guarantee we will never forget each other....I'm home and I noticed my interactions with people are much more from a spiritual perspective....they brought me to a memory that sparked a fire back in me ....the staff felt were partaking in the program with you.. they actually felt like friends I would even say family...I saved the best for last.....lol the food is so good ....like I eat at a lot of fastfood places and this food puts it to shame....every single person enjoyed the food ...lol I knew it was real when I tasted the cole slaw I was like dang they can't go wrong ....that was the true test hahaha a lot of people cant do good cole slaw lol. But seriously if you ever need a chance to get away, go see this place. It will change...
