If you have never seen a waterfall, this could be impressive. The hike is more difficult than necessary on a trail that is filled with tripping hazards. The trail goes up and down the hillside but the waterfalls are not high. Once you finish navigating the slippery mud and tree roots, the bridge is fine and the waterfall is best viewed on the far side of the bridge. Parking is challenging and the number of dogs off leash was curious. Don’t plan your day around this.

Always a winning hike. My first time here since being in an accident and even having a much tougher time than normal I was happy I went. Go early to avoid crowds. There’s plenty of room to take breaks along the way so don’t give up, it’s a rewarding and beautiful hike! For those with less-sure feet, I found hiking poles to be extremely supportive through some muddy sections on a wet June day.

The end of my hike. The stairway down to a viewing platform of twin falls is just before the bridge. The far end of the bridge has a great view of Middle falls further up the valley. If you are debating hiking here, I think you need to make it to the bridge to enjoy the view down the valley.
