
Twin Falls Washington is the tallest waterfall along the South Fork of the Snoqualmie River in King County. It’s the third tallest on any branch of the Snoqualmie after Kanim Falls and Snoqualmie Falls. It’s only 15 miles from Snoqualmie Pass, which makes is one of the closest waterfalls to Snoqualmie Summit on I-90. Both trailheads are just off I-90, making it an easy “break hike”.
There are actually three sections of falls that together comprise “Twin” Falls. The first section is two drops totaling 45 feet and ending up in a large bowl. This section is mostly invisible from the trail due to the shape of the gorge. The second series is the two stepped 30 foot fall upstream from the long trail bridge crossing the river. A 20 foot fall occurs directly under the bridge. Last is the big horsetail drop of 135 feet over a rock protrusion.

Si estás iniciando en este mundo del hiking o vienes de visita turística a la zona alrededor de Seattle, este lugar es perfecto ya que es un hiking sencillo y para toda la familia, te divertirás mucho subiendo a esta cascada ya que durante el camino verás increíbles vistas del bosque árboles con tamaños nunca antes visto y sobre todo tendrás como Background de sonido el río que baja desde la cascada te recomiendo llegar temprano ya que el estacionamiento es demasiado pequeño y se llena muy rápido si tienes suerte de encontrar estacionamiento tendrás que pagar $10 pero todo estará muy seguro y tendrás todas las comodidades necesarias, este es uno de los lugares de hiking más populares así que no te preocupes por la seguridad siempre estarás vigilado rodeado de gente muy amable de darte si es que algo sucede, después de llegar a la cascada el camino hacia arriba es alrededor de 25 minutos extra y es donde termina toda la aventura, te recomiendo en tu visita a este lugar de hiking también visitar la parte de Snoqualmie Pass y a su vez el maravilloso pueblo de North bend, sin duda será una experiencia maravillosa y que te motivará hacer cada vez más y mejores Hiking...
