We did the Twin Falls hike early in the morning on a weekday. When we got there, only one car was in the parking lot. The trail is very clean and well looked after. There were a few wet spots, but they were easy to walk through. We also saw a few fallen trees, but you can easily step over them.

There are some small side paths that lead to the river, and you can get close to the water from there. The waterfall itself is beautiful, with a lot of water flowing down. It’s a great place to stop and enjoy the view.

The hike is a little challenging but still good for families. When we came back around 10:30 AM, the parking lot was full. So it's best to go early if you want to avoid the crowds.

We really enjoyed the Twin Falls hike and highly...

Its the easy hike to start over just 1 hour away from Seattle in snowqualmie river, hiked with my 2.5 year old, had to carry her on my shoulders as we were not carrying our bag pack, not a stroller friendly hike please make sure you are carrying a backpack if hiking with younger kids, fall views are okay okay, looks great from the distance from first lookout point. We went on a sunny day so trail was okay but it will definitely be muddy during rains. Best to hike early morning or late evening because it gets crowded during the day lot of people and kids you can see on...

Great short hike. 500 ft elevation gain and under 4 miles for round trip. The trail starts off parallel to the river for a bit before encountering switchbacks up a steep slope. Once you reach the top you are greeted by fantastic views of the falls. Busy place, tons of people, plenty of dogs. Parking permit required (Discovery Pass) or day use payment (electronic pay station at the trail head). Bathrooms and trash cans also located at the trail head. Parking lot is small and fills up super quick. Additional parking along the north side of the road leading up to the...

🎥 @jessies__journeys 4 waterfalls to visit this winter in Washington! Make sure you bring microspikes and all the layers 🫶 📍Franklin Falls: this is about 7.5 miles with the road being closed! I recommend microspikes and all the warm layers! 📍Twin Falls: 2.5 miles, 616 ft of elevation 📍 Wallace Falls: 4.5 miles and 1,057 ft of elevation gain to get to the main viewpoint. 📍 Snoqualmie Falls: no hike required! There’s a paved viewing platform you can see the falls from! If you visit always remember to leave no trace! Send this to someone you wanna hike with ❄️🥶 #washingtonexplored #upperleftusa #pnwlife #washingtonstate #pnw #hikewashington#shehikes #outdoorsygirl #sheexplores #winterhikinggear
