Crane's Outdoor Power Equipment — Local services in North Canaan

I was referred to Cranes Outdoor Power Supply by a friend who spoke very highly of the business.

I live over an hour away and I am out of state. I was in the market for a Scag zero turn mower. I sent an email inquiry for further information. "Richie" the actual owner himself responded and corresponded back and forth with me for several weeks. Richie was always extremely prompt and answered all of my questions thoroughly. Crane's had several scag mowers in stock including the one I was interested in (which is rare these days due to supply issues).

I made an appointment with Richie today and went to meet him at Crane's. I was so impressed upon entering their showroom. They had so much Stihl equipment and accessories in stock. Their showroom was extremely clean and organized. I was greeted immediately upon entry by Richie. A member of his team immediately pulled my mower up front. Richie took a lot of time and went over every detail with me and ensured I understood everything. There was never any pressure to buy and Richie was extremely professional and down to earth.

I can't thank Richie and his team at Crane's enough. Even though they are over an hour from me, I will certainly be back when I need future equipment. I will most certainly refer anyone in the need for outdoor equipment to Crane's.

I even got an invite to their annual Christmas party!!!!

I was looking for a quality zero turn mower. I called several places and stopped by others and there is little to no inventory. I live in New York. My step son said to try Cranes in CT as it is only 35 min away. Worth the trip for sure. Staff was excellent. After talking with salesman he brought me to the back and showed me the mower I wanted. When he was called back to the front, a mechanic saw me and asked if I needed help. We talked for 15 min and he answered all my questions. Once I decided I wanted it they told me they would prep it and they delivered it that same day! Fantastic customer service....

Cane's saved my day today. I ran down there with a picture of my flat mower tire. The guys there told me how to remove the tire for them to look at. After a quick DIY I was able to bring in the tire. Unfortunately they did not have the tire in stock to replace but they quickly patched the hole for me to finish my lawn today. They ordered me 2 new tires and they will be in Friday. I am beyond grateful for there quick fix so I could finish my lawn....
