been coming to this location with my family on and off for many years, but this time was kind of disturbing. I walked into the store waiting for my family to get in, who had the valid ID to be allowed to browse the store. I stood off to the side of the entrance and watched as people came in and was next to the police officer that was ensuring no items that weren’t allowed were brought in, and i watched many people (mostly families) come in, and I realized a pattern in the cops questions to the families. Several white families came in and the officer greeted them with a smile and even called one older man sir, and only explained to them about not having lighters vapes etc, but an Indian family came in shortly after (with two little children) and he stopped them fairly abruptly and asked about the vapes etc but also asked them if they had any knives weapons or firearms?? as well as a few black groups of people that were questioned similarly. I was standing next to the door for about 5 minutes and it was VERY busy and watched probably 7-8 different groups come in and everytime the questions for a group or family of color were different and relayed more seriously. i am aware that this wouldn’t be a reflection of phantom fireworks, and more on the surrounding areas police department, but it was distasteful to witness as a customer. On the other hand, when the rest of my family got in and we began browsing, 2/3 staff members we were speaking to were very ignorant, short, and sarcastic. they had little to no interest in answering our questions. IMO, fireworks are the type of product that staff should be well educated on the product, considering the price and the distance many go to get to these stores. The officer working at Boom Boss across the street was very very kind though, as well...
Read moreCustomer service is horrible, As a walked in the store I was greeted very nicely and I asked the front desk if it’s still buy one get 2 free, they said yes, I was buying a lot of fireworks when I was approached by a employee that told me, I know what you guys are trying to do , your trying to buy us out. Which in my head I was thinking it’s good for the business. He had a attitude and a problem about it, when we asked can we get more of the fireworks from the back and they said no, due to the reason of them saying we were trying to buy them out. As we were done gathering and getting everything we needed, I went to check out at the register and as the employees were scanning everything, I seen that It wasn’t going in as buy one get two free, I asked them isn’t it buy one get 2 free, the employee said no, unless you have our card it is, I told him the front desk said it’s buy one get two free, and then he finally let us get the deal after a whole lot of arguing back and forth. They were very unprofessional and unacceptable. I don’t recommended going there, I would recommend going to sky kings fireworks they were amazing and helped us out a lot and gave us amazing deals you can’t pass on. This was about a couple...
