Dollar General — Local services in North Fond du Lac

This store sometimes gets a bit busy, because it's the only variety store in North Fond du Lac. Lot's of North Fond du Lac residents (myself included) don't like driving an extra ten minutes to get to Walmart or Target when we have this place right here in town. The employees are very helpful and friendly, and are happy to be helpful to customers locating stuff. And of course, the prices are always low. I've actually gotten to like some of the odd brands that they carry. If this store ever decided to expand, they have and will easily continue to have the business...

I would have to agree with some of the other reviews. A good place to grab something fast. Not very organized. Rolltainers sitting everywhere with merchandise and boxes. I walked in the other day and no one was there to greet me. The new manager was outside having a cigarette instead of inside taking care of customers. Maria is someone I have known for a while and she should be manager. I've seen her busting her rear end trying to stock selves, keeping the store organized and catching extra customers at the registers. If it was cleaner and more organized I would give...

Good selection and good prices for the most part but pay attention because at times the register rings up a higher price than what the item is market at on the shelf. Not sire if it is a software issue or a programming issue bit it happens often. The other down fall of this store is waiting for a cashier to come to the register.
