I had a great experience working with Edward and Oleg. They reprogrammed my Electronic Control Module in my Audi Q5 and got my vehicle accessories working.
My Electronics Control Module had an issue that was caused by the Dealer in Palm beach. I took my vehicle to the Dealer for them to diagnose a misfire and they advised to replace the engine due to the mileage. I received the car back and noticed that the AC was not working. I called the Service Advisor immediately and he stated that the tech did not disconnect anything to perform his testing. I left it alone as the engine replacement was a big cost and I took it for granted that if I did go that route it would start at that time. Unfortunately, my independent mechanic replaced the engine and the AC still did not work.
I had an appointment to take it back to the Dealer with the thought that their Tech just needed to undo whatever they did when they scanned the vehicle and created the issue. I continued making calls to various tuning shops while waiting for the day of my appointment, to find a repair shop familiar with ECMs / ECUs and made contact with Edward; he was able to explain what he thought may have happened originally at the dealership. I cancelled the appointment at the Dealer and took the vehicle to Edward and Oleg, which was the BEST DECISION EVER!! In two (2) days they reprogrammed the ECM and everything started working again (AC, Horn, Sunroof) and any other accessory connected through that module started working again.
They are also very fairly priced for the working man, which was an additional plus. I will continue to sing their praises and some local dealers should look at outsourcing this type of work to them. Yes, the dealer may have all of the manufacturer tools to complete the job, but based on my experience not all the techs understand how to perform this process correctly or care to. Edward and Oleg have the experience and care about producing quality results for their Customers.
I would suggest that if you have any issues with any of the Electronic Modules in your vehicle, reach out these guys.
Edward and Oleg, Thank...
Read moreI had taken my 2015 Hyundai Genesis to the local Hyundai dealer when I had all kinds of sensor lights going on (AEB, LKAS, BSD System).....they diagnosed it said it was my crank shaft sensor. They replaced it and I got my car back, no sensors on for a under 10 days; then I went to start my car to go to work and my engine did not crank. I had lights, radio and engine fan go on; but engine would not make a sound and no power brakes. I had it towed back to the dealership. They took a look at it 3 days after being towed in and told me it was the main brain to the car; the ECM-electronic control modular and gave me a hefty price of $3,300.00! Then they called me back to say that the part is not available nationwide and they do not know how long it would take to even get the part! I started to panic, but started researching and I found the ECU Team with a video of my same exact car on a car repair forum.....then I had to track down where they were located; only an hour away! I called them immediately and I spoke with Edward and he assured me that he and his team would get my car started. I had it towed out of the dealership and Edward insisted I go with the tow driver and when my car arrived they would be ready to work on it while I waited! Sure enough, within 2 hours my car started! I was able to drive 1 hour home and my car is running perfectly! They are awesome and a godsend to me! I truly appreciate their knowledge and true expertise!!!! Edward and his father are amazing and I will definately recommend them to anyone needing an ECM. By the way; I will be driving to the dealership to show them my car is running, as they were telling me not to trust anyone because they cannot get the part! I am so blessed that I was able...
Read moreMy experience with the ECU Team was exceptional. When my 2011 4.6 Liter Genesis Sedan with 95k miles failed to start, I had it towed to a trusted local mechanic. My mechanic did his best but advised that their equipment could not communicate with the vehicle’s computer and I needed to take it to a dealership. I took it to the dealership and soon learned that the ECU/ECM had failed and would need to be replaced. The only thing more astonishing than the price was the amount of time it would take to actually receive the new computer. They could give me no true estimate of a delivery date, beyond “a long time.” And this is not 2020. We are well beyond the supply chain issues of years past. The ECM for somewhat older vehicles must not be a priority for manufacturers. Being stuck without the vehicle, I began researching alternatives and came across the ECU Team. I contacted them, explained the problem and they quickly were able to offer a solution. I trusted their expertise and moved forward with their recommendation. Their communication was fantastic throughout the process. Within a matter of days, I received the call from Edward that my car was ready and running great. And this was at a fraction of the cost it would have been to replace the ECM at the dealer. Not to mention, it was done in days, not (at least) months if not never to wait for an OEM part. Between Edward and Oleg who represent the ECU Team, these guys are reliable, caring and trustworthy. There was a lot of debate on the web about the feasibility of any alternative to a brand new ECM from the manufacturer. These guys proved it can be done, and were honest. If they say they can do it, they can. Highly...
