02/07/2020 - Fun Rides for the kids, but pricey 💲💲! My kids and I 👨‍👧‍👦met up with some friends from school and went on the last Friday of the fair🎡 at 7pm at night. I haven't been to a fair in 10+ years, but it's pretty much how I remembered it. $20 per kid for admission and unlimited rides, which was reasonable, and $7 for my admission. Parking was $5. There were plenty of games of chance, which I just avoided due to the high price and reputation for being rigged.

They had plenty of rides for younger and older kids, a 30 minute highwire circus 🎪 type show and a 30 minute dog show🐕 with rescue dogs (I like that aspect). The dog show was lukewarm. The circus show was better. There were several groups of teens there that were disrespectful, foul mouthed and loud (maybe because beer was served), 🤬 There was a strong smell of marijuana on some of the people walking in. Police 🚔 presence was minimal.

Food was pricey...$8 for an Italian sausage sandwich and $5 for a 20 oz. Sprite and $5 each for a small cup of dippin' dots. But it was safe, and my kids had a good time, but overall I would say, "meh!" 😒 Partly it was the clientele, and the prices that made it so-so. But it was something to do on a...

Worst fair EVER ... expensive low quality food items with all the same food trucks...very little variety ... five dollar lemonade was cheap dollar store flavored drink it was terrible ... I bought a sheet of tickets at 9 pm .. the fair was advertised to be open until 10 ....then while I am trying to choke down the small 5 dollar COLD corn dog ...not even 15 minuites after buying the tickets for rides..... all the employees start smoking and closing everything down ...15 minuites after I bought tickets for rides.... they shut the entire fair down .. I guess they decided it was too cold and not enough people were there spending money....so too bad for the ones that just paid admission to get in and paid to park and paid for tickets for the rides .... Its poorly run ... ridiculous expensive food for cheapest and lowest quality ingredients possible ...they will be happy to take as much as they can soak from you then just close down and leave your family standing in the dark.... like really ..???..save your money for something better you will leave with a lot less money and be...

Nothing placed right for example, hardly any trash cans maybe one every 500 ft. Only about 4 in the whole thing. No where to sit and eat. Only about 4-5 benches in the whole fair. When u walk in, you HAVE TO walk all the way through the main building which is pretty big and full of art. Cool if ur into that sorta thing but that's not what ur there for. Then once u make it out of there, u have to walk through ALL the food and drink vendors b4 u get to ANY rides. Not to mention, it's super expensive!! Kids 5- free but if they are that age there is not much for them. Most of the cooler, newer rides have hight restrictions that, in my opinion are crazy high. If I did it myself I would spread out the vendors more and try to make it as convenient for people as possible! U r paying A LOT of $. It should be a great day! But anyway it is a fair and we, (our 5yr...

The Charlotte County fair is just that: a county fair. It has all the required pieces: 4-H exhibits, rides, midway, shows and diet-busting food. This year's fair (2017) seemed to have a decent number of rides and midway booths. The animal exhibits were interesting, although we were a bit concerned at the lack of water dishes in some pens. But the pens were clean and the animals seemed healthy. We went on a weekend (daytime), and there weren't a lot of people. It's probably more crowded at night. All-in-all, it was interesting and fun.
