The last 2 times I've gone, website said that the outdoor driving range opens at 9am. First time, I had to wait an hour for the range to open due to wet, soggy grounds and the inability to pick balls. Sure, understandable, but being told to "check the website" before arriving several times put a bad taste in my mouth. There were no indicators on the site saying the range was delayed on being open. Today, (5-1-24) I was able to start at 9 BUT had to 'aim away from crew filling ruts.' They were in the middle of the range...why do you think I'm there?? Again, no indicators on the site saying there was maintenance happening but was told to check the website before coming in for maintenance messages. I feel like they are gaslighting me into making it seem like everything is my problem because I didn't check the site. The only reason I go is because of the top shot tracers. I was offered a reimbursement for another day, but not until I was talked to 4 times throughout my medium bucket. Also to add, I wasn't the only person in the tracer bays hitting away from the crew, but I was the only one getting talked to about my inaccuracy..... Mats are falling apart, balls are old.
Edit as a reply to owner: First of all, get off your high horse. If you were really trying to keep 'Grandpa Pat' safe, you would have told my friend and I that the tracer bays were closed. You had the chance to outright tell us to not hit off the mats. All you did was sheepishly try to get us to move to the grass or pay a ridiculous price for a simulator. Then what happened? The bays overflowed with other people hitting balls and yelling fore more than I did. Like that man you HAD to come tell me about, he's such a good golfer too right? As an owner, put your foot down to customers instead of taking their money at all costs! If you were actually paying attention to 'every drive,' you'd know I was flying them 250 yards, iirc, that was about 120 yards farther than where the crew was. Don't sit here and make fun of customers who are trying to better their golf game at your establishment. It's a driving range. If work needs done to it, close the range. People go to get better, not get made fun of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was loving this range early on this summer. Significant new investment in the range - addition with 12(?) new covered bays complete with top tracer, an additional outbuilding, some lounge furniture, but ultimately with every investment comes some cost cutting measure somewhere. Today I stopped in excited for my next session only to find NEW āRangeā balls. Skeptical, I gave them a try and instantly my skepticism was confirmed. Every shot with these new balls was consistently 20-30 yards shorter on TopTracer than my previous visit. Thanks to the App, I have the stats to prove it. Now, what good is all the data!? I certainly donāt expect a 1:1 translation of range to course, but yardages should be somewhat consistent. Donāt expect access to Pro-Vs but even the old balls they previously used were ābetterā than these. Shame. I clicked out of my āTopTracer30ā session because it was so off. Then just went back to āPracticeā to finish out my bucket. Only hit PW and 7 Iron but both clubs consistently shorter flat carry than my 3 previous sessions and there was NO wind today. I donāt know what to do now. This may not be a big deal for many folks, but if Iām not getting close to realistic feedback, then all the TopTracer data and investment is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNot much to say...Prices options fluctuate based on the owners needs. Sad they cannot be straightforward. Never in all of my golf career have I been to a course or a range that does this. Offering small and med vs. the large as they state: they cannot collect balls. Prices are high, and ball and mat quality is low. Flagged raised "green" Targets can not be seen due to away facing slope. The putting green looks like a land mine hit it from all the un repaired divots left on the green. surely Mohammad and his crew can do better. Take a look at Thunderbird as an example of quality and value. $14 for a large and all Bridgestone range balls. Good place for novice and families.... if you're trying to fine-tune your game, look down the road.
Update: I gave them a try again....walked in ordered large and they said only small and medium no large....
Absolutely price fixing. You cannot buy a large but you can buy two mediums? Because??? They cannot collect the balls? Please!
Don't have the money for extra balls as they are putting up a $50k add on??? Please be golfer friendly.... this only benefits the greedy owner. Shame on you Mohammed... You lost my business and any of my...
