220A 8/10/24-8/17/24 8/11/24 a.m. Side A elevators broken, not good for family with COPD & A-FIB, side B is like a block & a half away(because this place is HUGE), up & running 8/15/24 a.m., elevator repair Co. there all day 8/14/24 early a.m. til 8/14/24 11 p.m. cussing each other, dropping F bomb like it was nothing, almost ended in physical altercation amongst them, random lady attempted to de-escalate. Main pool, largest on Carolina coast broken entire stay up until 8/15 we have 1.5 days to use it, main reason why we like it here & splash by the sea their food is amazing. Both hot tubs ARE NOT HOT, apparently have been broken for years according to others that stay here often. Our ocean view condo is listed as ocean front on VRBO, couldn't get door open to master bedroom onto ocean view balcony due to corrosion/massive mold, real-estate agency sent repairman to condo Tuesday to replace door handle so that issue was fixed quickly. Said real-estate co. to ask condo owners for some type of financial compensation due to conditions we had to deal with on our once yearly vacation that is saved for all year long, & she did succeed in getting us a $200 return. Our condo was extremely nice except for door handle that was replaced & stating ocean front instead it's ocean view. I shouldn't have to be contacting real estate agency, sending emails, talking with front desk about issues, & contacting Town Hall about when pool inspector (who is 3 minutes down the road, & took him 1.5 days to get here) is coming to inspect main pool to open it, ridiculous to spend my precious time dealing with this nonsense. The real estate agent was caught in the middle of this mess, but she was so helpful to us, she did succeed in getting a $200 return for our issues from condo owners. Broken elevators, broken pool, broken hot tubs, shouldn't have to pay right under $4,000.00 for this for 1 week, bad business equals no business. THE MASSIVE MONEY THAT IS BEING MADE AT THIS FACILITY THERE IS NO EXCUSE WHATSOEVER FOR SUCH...
Read more(THE WORSE PLACE EVER) If i could give the FOOD here 0 stars i would... even though our meal was basically inedible the service provided by the servers was immaculate, i very much appreciated their hospitality... Below is everything that we ordered for the table along with what i would rate it
They firstly come around with a basket of bread with a variety of flavors, they weren't the best nor worse bread I've had it was fine.
Secondly they came around with a complimentary "chorizo & some sort of spinach wrap" which in my opinion tasted very much like a spread you could buy at any supermarket. (1/10)
Bruschetta (5/10) it wasn't the worse thing on the menu but at the end of the day it's just a piece of bread with tomato nothing about this "wowed" me, the presentation was again very standard... you would think that such an expensive restaurant would have more of an aesthetic...
Moving on to the entrees, i ordered the Lobster Sauce linguine with prawns (1/10) This pasta was SO incredibly dry! As someone who has traveled all over Italy this pasta was one of the worst I've had! The pasta itself was to al dente the sauce lacked flavor and thickness, overall i was NOT A FAN!
Finally the dessert we ordered the tiramisu, which i think was the worse mistake of the night... not only was the tiramisu JIGGLY! but the TOP PART smelt like LITERAL DOG FOOD ! Again any supermarket bought tiramisu would be 100x better than that. In all my years i have NEVER seen a jiggly tiramisu. ALL & ALL this place is horrible! Complete waste of time! Don't even bother coming here, i definitely DO NOT...
Read moreProperty is mis-managed. During our recent stay the elevator on one side of the building was not working the entire time, and had not been working for at least the week prior to our stay. That meant climbing three flights of stairs to check in and check out, in a very narrow staircase. There was an operating elevator in the front of the building, but that meant walking around half the building with your gear and then competing for that elevator. They did have valets for luggage but they were cheap and had trouble getting over the lips in the concrete at each doorway. The only two hot tubs on the property were also not working during our entire stay, and in talking with a resident, they had not been working for quite some time. The property grounds are not well-kept: mildew was on the large decorative rocks around the pools (they need a pressure wash), large flower/planting beds/containers were empty, there were no umbrellas by the pool, poor paint jobs on structures around the property, etc. During our stay the pool was closed the last two days because of the storm, which was understandable as some sort of power issue caused something to malfunction. A sign was posted indicating the pool was closed, but no mention of apologizing for the inconvenience, which is customer service 101. So on our vacation, no elevator on one side of the building, the only two hot tubs did not work, no pool the last two days, and not great...
