Since they stopped taking small orders at the courtesy counter it's created some headaches. They usually have more than one lane open and have a lane marked "15 items or less" but not always. You may only have literally 1 item but if the 15 items lane isn't open, you have to wait in normal line with people who have full carts. They absolutely won't take you up at the counter any more. They need to rethink it.

Also, I would not recommend buying Donuts out of the donut case. I have on many occasions gone to the courtesy counter to inform them they have flies flying around and on the donuts. I'm always given a "thank you I'll let somebody know" type of answer. I don't know if I have ever looked in the donut case and not seen flies inside it and on the donuts. Surely this is not a safe...

I have lived in Denver for 7 years now. Whenever I come home to Syracuse/North Webster, I look forward to the cinnamon raisin biscuits at the grocery store. I went in to get some this weekend, and she said they didn't have any. I told her how much I looked forward to those biscuits when I come home, and she saw how sad I was. The baker, Nanette, asked me how long I would be in town, and she would bake me some! So she made two special orders of cinnamon raisin biscuits and even put extra icing on them! This was so far above and beyond what anyone would expect that I just had to write this to say thank you! Nanette and the rest of the bakery staff...

I am from out of town and needed some grocery and other I tems for a camp out. Needed to shop twice at lances. They had everything l wanted, fair prices, staff was super helpful, and l even found fresh sweet corn at a bargain to feed the volunteers setting up In advance for the camp out, as well as appropriate gifts for a surprise bridal shower hosted at the camp out. By the way, I purchased a gift card for the soon-to-bride. My clerk had it activated and there was no problem. (Unlike the complaint about such in another review) It was a very positive experience both times. Local people hosting the camp out highly recommended...
