My sister in law bought eclairs yesterday to celebrate her birthday for $97. You would think that for that kind of price, the product must be of amazing quality and definitely worth the price right? Absolutely not. Our family used to be big fans of the eclairs from Elite Bakery since last year when my god mother ordered their eclairs for her husband's birthday, and my mother was a huge fan of the raspberry eclairs. They were a big hit at the party as well. When we heard that we would be having Elite Bakery's eclairs again for my sister-in-laws birthday, we were so excited and couldn't wait to try them again. Unfortunately it was a big let down. It seems the baker had to make budget cuts on the ingredients and changed the recipe completely of the dough, the cremes and of the topping on top of the eclairs. The dough now tastes tough, dry, and the overall flavor is lackluster. The cremes used to be very light and airy with a nice taste of whichever flavor they were inspired by, but now tastes very heavy and doesn't have much flavor at all. The toppings used to be a light layer of white chocolate with whichever flavor it was inspired by, but now it's a heavy glaze that seems to be made of gelatin and it's heavily colored with artificial colors. Yes the look of the eclairs is very aesthetically pleasing with the gold details, but at the expense of the flavor, they are lying to their customers. Absolutely one of my favorite bakeries in the area. It’s pricey but so worth it, love to spoil myself and my loved ones with their beautiful tasty creations. Every time I come, they always have something new or seasonal to try e.g. Valentine’s Day themed desserts, Christmas cakes, etc. We also recently ordered a custom birthday cake and it came out amazing, both in design and flavor! The team delivered despite the short notice and executed on the highest level. We got inspiration from one of their birthday designs on Insta and chose the Ferrero Rocher filling. Walked in to pick up some sweets to bring with us to a family gathering. Chose a cake that looked decent and no body was thrilled with the taste of it. The consistency was dry, it was falling apart when cutting.

You can tell if the cake was a success or not by how much is left and if any was left on the plates. Most plates had this cake left unfinished.

We ordered from Elite Bakery previously even when it was called 2 Ladies Bakery and rarely liked anything there. My wife insisted on giving yet another try and I must say it was our last one.
