Horrible. Nothing but problems since I moved in. I'm on my 3rd dryer (finally a new one), my second fridge, the stove was broken, dishwasher broken, washing machine didn't work properly (I was able to use my own finally) the a/c didn't work at all when I first moved in (for over 3 weeks), my attached garage still smells like animal waste (I can only assume the previous occupants kept dogs out there, it's a heavy dog pee smell, the odor seeps into the apartment it's so horrible) and since it's not a "liveable" space it's not a priority. My child's iPad was broken by a maintenance worker (of course they denied it) and they will only reimburse what I paid at Verizon to enter a 2 year contract (guess I should be lucky although to replace it is more than double what I paid on the promotional price plus tax & activation--- I was told I was unreasonable to expect a price for replacement). To top it off the floors creek horribly so every time your neighbors above you move you hear it (yes in the middle of the night too). The property is not maintained....a lot of the entry doors to each apartment are rusted, garage doors are dented, none of the trim anywhere is kept up, there's no pride in keeping up appearances. The parking situation is rotten. So no, I do not recommend this place to anyone. For the price you have to pay to live here it is not worth it (I pay $1130.00 a month for a 3 bedroom with an attached garage) I am thankful for a place to live but I sure have had to tolerate a lot living here the past almost 3 months. Some of the issues have resolved but my point to all this is the apartment should have been perfect when I took possession and instead was robbed of every working appliance because it sat empty prior to me moving in therefore they had "inventory" for other residents who had a broken appliance. All the appliances are 13 years old (from when they first opened 13 years ago) and all I can gather is they don't want to buy new if they absolutely don't have to, so no energy efficiency anywhere. Needless to say renewing my lease...
Read moreLet me begin by expressing my sheer gratitude for the staff at Shoreline Landing Apartments. We moved here 3 weeks ago and I had so many questions and the office staff could not have possibly been more helpful or kind. Allison, Mary, and Josh not only answered every single question I had, but went the extra mile each time to help me in any way they could and to offer additional information that made my life easier and so enjoyable. I actually had a great time moving. The community here is absolutely gorgeous and so professionally maintained, it's a such a joy to walk out on my deck and just admire the beauty of this place. The people here are so warm and friendly and we absolutely love our neighbors, which is important in making one feel like their home. I have owned a couple of houses in my life and I've rented apartments. In all those years, I can honestly say, I have never ever felt more like I'm home than I do here. I'm grateful to be here and to be able to say, I'm finally home. It's important to me to express my gratitude to Hayden who is one of the maintenance guys here. We had a few things that needed some attention and I have never ever seen anyone work harder or more diligently than Hayden. He has a great personality and is so dedicated to finishing a job properly, and to the best of his ability, that he made phone calls when running into difficulty, and actually left a few times and came back in order to go to the workshop and get any and all tools and items he needed to complete the job and complete it perfectly. While he worked, we also talked and he was very informative about everything he was doing on each job he was working on. . Wow!!! What an immensely great personality and we had lots of laughs along the way!! All in all, I could not be happier in any way than I am now. I can honestly say, thanks to everyone here at Shoreline Landing, it's great to be home!!! Thanks to the entire staff. With my greatest thanks and appreciation,
Andrea...
Read moreIt comes as no surprise that rates for these apartments go up year after year. These increases do not seem like much per category (trash, water, garage, carport, pet fee, rent, etc.), but when consolidated, you better believe it adds up.
Also, please be warned and do not fall lax of checking your bill on a monthly basis because I fell victim to inflated rates that did not reflect my contract. It took months and months of dispute and many of my phone calls were ghosted in the process. Was the issue resolved? Yes, but It took walking into the office (twice) to have the issued fixed.
Are the apartments nice? You bet! But I must admit one overlooked feature was the fact that the busy roadway (highway?) does not help keep the noise at a minimum, and when you have cars and motorcycles revving up their engines as they zoom on by, then you will shortly come to realize there is no such thing as a peaceful atmosphere until winter arrives. Perhaps keep this thought in mind for it was something I easily overlooked when doing my walkthrough.
Lastly, as a dog owner, I am constantly having to avoid thrown out food in the grass. This food will sit there for days if not weeks and I am not always quick enough to react before my dog takes hold of the expired food. This can be rather detrimental to the dog's health, and especially those who has a sensitive stomach. It would be nice if the people who lived in the apartments cleaned up and used the nearby garbage bins. But sadly that isn't the case.
In addition, it is nice to see all the dog lovers who live here, but one big flaw is that not all dog owners pick up after their dog(s), so do keep an eye out on every step you take, otherwise you will be bringing home an...
